Ao'nung and Tsireya sttarted clicking their tounges and whooping. Turns out Kiri was own her own exploring, she could breath just fine underwater and for a very long time. Tsireya even said she bonded with an Ilu, which turns out. When Kiri had her Ikinemya she didnt have to fight an Ikran. She just went up to one and asked it to be her friend, it never happend before. She was the first one.
Animals grunted as gave out chirps as they started come around it, circling us as she nudged our legs with their heads. "these are ilu." Ao'nung stated as Tsireya yipped. "if you want to live here, you have to ride."
We splitted up into diffrent groups, Ao'nung had Neteyam, Tsireya had Lo'ak and Tuk, Rotxo had Tsìlpey. Rotxo called over an ilu as he held it in place. "Youll want to get onto the Ilu, its not the same as those flying things you came on."
"you mean Ikran?" Tsìlpey asked as she gave hima look. Rotxo nodded and then instructed her to get on. When Tsilpey got on Rotxo told her to fix things like her feet, or arms.
"Make the bond." Tsìlpey took her Tshaylu as she took the Ilu's bond and connected them. She could feel the ilu's breath, strength, everything about it. "Feel her breath, her strength." Rotxo told Tsìlpey where to hold so it would help her not fall off. He then told her what to do when the ilu dived so she stayed on because underwater it will go faster then it does on the surface. Rotxo also talked about being on the ilu on the surfaced and when it jumped out of the water.
"When you are ready you may try." Rotxo said. Tsìlpey took a deep breath as she told the ilu to dive and go slowly. The ilu followed to instructions as she dived down to the ocean floor and slowly started to pick up as Tsìlpey told the ilu to. They went in between objects underwater and moved out of the way of underwater animals. She soon circled back as she broke surface and made it back to Rotxo who grinned at her. "you did it!"
Tsìlpey smiled and Rotxo looked over and Tsìlpey followed his gaze as she saw Lo'ak about to go. "Ive got to see this." Tsìlpey mumbled as Rotxo looked back at her.
"I was thinking the same thing." Rotxo started to swim towards the group forming as Tsìlpey rode over. Some other friends of Ao'nungs gathered and started making fun of how Lo'ak looked. "Look at his legs." One them mumbled.
"Hold on!" Ao'nung yelled out. Lo'ak then took off as he dove down. Everyone went down to look as soon came back up as Lo'ak fell off. Tsìlpey inhales sharpley. They all started laughing including a little bit for Tsireya who covered her mouth.
When Lo'ak re-surfaced he yelled out as his ilu looked at him and then went back towards the group. "You all right, forest boy?" One of Ao'nung's friends yelled out. Lo'ak ignored him and swam back.
For a few more hours we practiced things with the ilu such as getting a saddle on them which was easy, it was just like a Ikran saddle. They also practiced getting on and off the ilu so it would be easy and they didnt mess up. That was mostly for Tuk because she was small while her ilu was big compared to her.
We continued to ride around having fun before the sun started to set. Jake was walked by as he called the kids out of the water for dinner. Lessons were already finishes anyways and they were fooling around. Having fun. Though the Sully children and Tsìlpey were exhausted from first day lessons and already wanted a break to get some sleep and be lazy around the Mauri. But they couldnt do that. they had to learn the Metkayina ways so they could stay here and so they were not useless and get kicked out.
When they got back to their Mauri, Neytiri was already cooking dinner, she looked annoyed by her lessons and during dinner complain about how Ronal was subborned and only liked things done a certain way. It was annoying. Dinner was filled with stories and laugher but everyone was tired and after dinner was cleaned up the Sullies went to bed early then the whole village. They wanted to catch up on sleep and was exhausted. Tsìlpey secretly hoped it was a more easier day tomarrow.
