"What was the one thing I asked? The one thing!" Jake asked as he pushed Lo'ak into the Mauri and turning to face the 3 of us.

"Stay out of trouble." Lo'ak, Neteyam, and Tsìlpey murrmerd with their heads down.

"Stay out of trouble. Thats right." Jake replied back as he sighed.

"It was my fault." Neteyam said as he looked up and held out his hands.

"I dont think so. You gotta stop taking the heat for this knucklehead." Jake replied, shaking his head.

"Look Dad." Lo'ak said as Tsìlpey and Lo'ak looked up at the same time. "Ao'nung was picking on Kiri. He called her a freak. Then, he called Tsìlpey a Vrrtep, a demon."

Jake sighed as he put a hand on his forhead. "Lo'ak, Tsìlpey you have to apolgize to Ao'nung and his friends."

"What?" Lo'ak looked at him. "Tsìlpey shouldnt have to apolgize."

"Ao'nung is the chef's son, and Tsilpey put her knife up to him and his friends. Do you understand? I dont care how you do it. Just go make peace. Just go."

Lo'ak gave Tsìlpey a look as he turned around and walked out of the Mauri as Tsìlpey followed. In the distance we could see Ao'nung and his friends riding Ilu's towards the outside of the reef. We got into the water as we called out our Ilu's and got on. We raced out towards them.

As we approached Ao'nung and his friends who were in a circle, ilu sqeaked to announceand let others know that someone is coming. "Ah, what's tree boy and Vrrtep doing here?" Ao'nung asked as he rolled his eyes, he was carrying a crossbow with him.

"Im sorry I hit you." Lo'ak said trying not to grin. " So many times."

"And im sorry for cutting you with my knife and threatening to kill you. But you deserved it."
Tsìlpey added.

Ao'nung looked at his friends before looking at us. "Ah, we should we friends. Come hunting with us. Outside the reef. Its where the men hunt." Ao'nung said then quickly added. "And the women."

Ao'nung held out his hand for him to shake. "No way. We are not allowed." Lo'ak said.

Ao'nung scoffed as he pulled away his hand. "I must be asking the wrong brother. What about you Vrrtep? Are you going to come hunting outside the reef and not be scared like tree boy?"

"let's do it." Tsìlpey says.

"Ah!" Ao'nung yells out as he moves his ilu to dive down into the water as we followed. It was a long ride before we made it close to a rock, called the three brothers rock.

We dove down into the water following Ao'nung and his friends as we got to the ocean floor. Ao'nung signed to us that we should go first. Lo'ak swam in front of me as Tsìlpey swam behind him watching what he was doing so she could do the same thing. he had one of the crossbows Ao'nung and his friend had.

When Lo'ak caught site of a fish he held it up and shot at it. The fish swam for a moment before it didnt move as some blood came out. it was dead. Lo'ak looked around at me which Tsìlpey smiled. But his smiled dropped and when I looked back Ao'nung and his friends were gone. We quickly gathered the fish before heading up to the surface.

We called out ilu's as we got on and tried to look around for Ao'nung and his 3 friends. "Hey guys!" Lo'ak yelled out a few times. "Hey! Ao'nung! Come on, this isnt funny!"

We continued to look around and call out their names but no one showed up or answered. What they didnt know was the danger lurking below them. A huge fish jumped out of the water as it got the fin of Lo'ak's tail and Tsìlpey's as well. We slammed back into the water as we opened our eyes and looked aorund to see our Ilu's swimming off hurt. They should be okay. Tsìlpey hoped.
