Neteyam and Tsìlpey sat in the Sully pod talking when Ao'nung came in a hurry. "Lo'ak is going to see Payakan. One of my friends saw him going towards three brother's rock and told me and I figured thats where he was going."
Neteyam hissed as he shook his head. "We will follow him."
Tsìlpey got up as well as Neteyam. All three of them walked out of the Mauri and headed down to the beach in a hurry calling out to their Ilu's. Tsireya was already in the waters waiting for them. When Tsìlpey's Ilu made it to the shallow waters, she bonded with it and got on as they started riding out to three brothers rock.
When they got there they could see Lo'ak on the side of Payakan in the distance. They decided to get off their ilu there and swim the rest of the way. Tsìlpey took a big deep breath as she dove under. The words Tsireya kept saying during their training in the back of their minds.
"The way of water has no beginning and no end, Our hearts beat in the womb of the world. The sea is your home, before your birth and after your death, The sea gives and the sea takes. Water connects all things: life to death, darkness to light"
They swam until they were behind some seaweed as they watched closly at what Lo'ak was doing. Spying on him. He soon entered the water as he dove down and looked at payakan. He threw his hands up almost like he was confused, Tsìlpey thought.
Payakan opened his mouth and shortly after Lo'ak swam into it. Tsìlpey and Neteyam jumped forward trying to swim and save their brother, Tsireay and Ao'nung both stopped them. Tsìlpey looked at Ao'nung and he signed to her stop. He then looked at Payakan again.
A few minutes later Lo'ak emerged from the mouth of Payakan and swam up to the surface. Ao'nung turned back to Tsìlpey. 'He has bonded with the outcast, he has a spirit brother.'
We turned back and swam away from Payakan and Lo'ak to get air. As we surfaced we called out ilu as we were going to head back to the forest. In the distance there was yipping as we turn around to see a small group of Na'vi being led by one of Ao'nung's friends, and Tonowari.
Tsìlpey turned back towards Lo'ak and yelled at him for what was coming. He got off of Payakan quickly yelling something out to him and calling his ilu. This wasnt going to be good. Tsìlpey thought.
Ronal led the 5 kids into their Mauri as she huffed as she was angry, when she was in the Mauri she yelled out angry. "You allowed him to bond with the outcast!"
Tsireya was breathing heavily as Tonowari looked and her and spoke. "Tsireya, you disappoint me, daughter." Tsireya's ears flattened by her head as she looked down. "And you son of a great warrior, who has been taught better."
"Payakan saved my life, sir. You don't know him." Lo'ak said as he shook his head.
"No, Lo'ak." Tsireay said looking at Lo'ak.
"Sit. Sit." Tonowari said. "Sit down!" Tsireya whimpered as she quickly knelt sat down onto the floor. Everyone else slowly knelt. Tonowari blew sharply wanting silence. Tsìlpey moved her head towards the opened as Jake and Neytiri were there kneeling close to the opening of the Mauri. " Hear my words, boy. In the days of the First Songs, tulkun fought amongst themselves, for territory, and for revenge."
Tonowari paused to take a breath and to let the information settle in. "But they came to believe that killing, no matter how justified, only brings more killing. So all killing was forbidden. This is the Tulkun Way. Payakan is a killer, so, he is outcast."
Tonowari's words played in Tsìlpey's mind. This is the Tulkun way.
Lo'ak looked at Tonowari. "I'm sorry, sir. But you're wrong."
"Lo'ak." Neytiri hissed giving a warning. "You speak to Olo'eyktan!"
"I know what I-" Lo'ak started to say before Jake cut him off.
"That's enough!" He yelled.
Lo'ak looked at his parents before looking at Ronal and Tonowari. "I know what I know." Ronal snarled at him as Jake came towards Lo'ak fast and grabbed him by the upper arm.
"That's enough." Jake said sharply looking at Lo'ak before looking back at the Olo'eyktan and Tsahik. "I'll deal with this one and the rest at our Mauri. I apolgize on behalf of everyone."
Lo'ak was dragged out by Jake as Neytiri followed. The rest of the Sully kids got up and left leaving Ao'nung and Tsireya sitting down to face their very angry parents.
