It's been five months already, limang buwan na akong nananatili sa bahay na 'to kasama sila Thaniel. Wala naman aking problema sa kanila they're too good for me at hindi nila ako pinapabayaan. dalawang buwan nalang pasko na kaya naman naeexcite ako sa magiging ganap namin dito sa mansion. Nag-isip na sila ni Endymion at Willa ng mga pweding gamiting decor for this upcoming Christmas, natawa pa ako dahil nauna ang preparation nila for the Christmas holidays kaysa sa Halloween.

Thaniel steps closer and stops directly in front of me. He studies me for a fleeting moment, causing me to quickly look away. Whenever he is near, I can't shake the sense that something feels wrong; my heart pounds furiously. He feigns a cough, which makes me glance back at him again.

"Do you have any free time?" he inquired, fully aware that I was doing nothing in his lavish mansion.

"No, I have plenty of time, but I would prefer to spend it reading some books," I replied, weaving a small lie. I wanted to keep him from suspecting that I was searching for a remedy for his curse.

"We... we can visit your parents today if you'd like," he suggested, which made me pause. A broad smile spread across my face, and in my excitement, I accidentally hugged him. It had been months since I last saw my family, and I missed them dearly, especially my two siblings, Kent and Bianca.

At the same time, I broke the hug and apologized to him, which made him nod. He told me to get ready, as he would inform the others that we were heading to the mortal world.

I quickly returned to my chamber and changed into a simple beige dress. I didn't bother with makeup because I was too excited to reunite with my parents; I was sure Bianca had plenty of stories to share with me. After one last glance at my appearance, I closed the door to my chamber and made my way to the living room where everyone would be waiting.
