cassie would be lying if she said that she wasn't excited for the bahrain grand prix.
she'd seen a few formula 1 races before — mostly because of jenny and lance's insistence that she come along — but this was different.
maybe it was because cassie actually knew stuff this time.
or maybe it had a little something to do with a certain mclaren driver named lando norris.
nope, those are bad thoughts, cassie. she scolds herself, sipping an iced coffee as she awkwardly stands around the aston martin motorhome. lance had driven her, but upon arrival, he had been busy talking to his race engineers, so cassie was pretty much left to her own devices.
she'd met fernando alonso — a mischievous but lovable older man who was lance's teammate, but he was also quite busy in the race preparations.
which is how cassie found herself, bored out of her mind, and pulling her phone out.
