As they meet Dalilah, Perry sees her for the first time... Zane recognizes Dalilah again. He knows that he wants to see her again, and now he meets her again.
"You're the woman I saw at the beach, are you?" said Zane. "Yeah... I'm pretty sure you're imagining things in your head," said Dalilah. "It just seems so real that you're real right now, I thought you were dead in the ocean at the beach," said Zane. "No, I'm not dead... I'm Dalilah Bluebird, the mystic assistant of the fortune-teller shop. It's nice to see you, Zane," said Dalilah. "Nice to see you, too," said Zane. "Hi, I'm Perry, Zane's cousin and this is our dog DJ," said Perry. "DJ's your dog's name?" asked Dalilah. "Yep," said Perry. "Your pet is such a kind dog," said Dalilah. "We... We have to go, thank you for watching our dog for us. It means so much," said Zane. "Yeah," said Perry. "See you next time, have a wonderful day. Blessed be," said Dalilah as she bowed down. "You, too," said Zane as he looked back at her with a kind grin.
As they left the fortune-telling shop, they headed outside of Vancouver. "That was strange, but she seems like a gorgeous, nice woman," said Perry. "Yeah, I believe I'm just glad that I saw her again. And how did she know my name?" said Zane.
"I don't know," said Perry. "Maybe she overheard our conversation with Madame Tricia, that's what I think," said Zane. "Yeah, I think so, too," said Perry. "She's so nice to our dog," said Zane. "Yeah," said Perry.
The two cousins and their dog were walking in Vancouver. They went to the library next to the boxing center. They were unaware that Dalilah was following them from behind, and they did not notice her.
Zane, Perry, and their dog DJ enter the library of Vancouver, and they begin to look around inside the amazing library. The Vancouver library was big and very uniquely beautiful when Zane and Perry visited there for the first time. "This place is so big..." said Perry, amazed. "Very big," said Zane, amazed. "I'm pretty sure there's gotta be someone who knows who killed my mom," said Perry. "Yeah, I think so, too. Let's look around the library," said Zane.
They started to explore in the public library of Vancouver, they went to the right path of the hallway in the big library where the bookshelves were. "Hello there, boys," said the librarian, Simon Stacy. "Hi," said Zane and Perry. "I'm Mr. Simon Stacy. Are you looking for something? You two look familiar," said Simon. "Well, remember the news about my aunt's murder - my cousin's mother's murder before," said Zane. "I heard about the news about what happened, what's going on?" said Simon. "I'm Zane, and this is my cousin, Perry, my aunt's son," said Zane. "What's your aunt's name?" asked Simon. "Her name was Jemena," said Perry. "Oh my God," said Simon, realizing that he knew Jemena in the past before her death. "Do you know my mother?" asked Perry. "Well, I know her. She was working with me in this library in Vancouver, I was at the gala with her, and I witnessed her death when she drank the wine that was poisoned," said Simon. "Are you sure?" asked Zane. "Yes, but I don't know who is the suspect who killed her. Please, come to my office," said Simon.
"OK," said Zane. "Alright. Come on, DJ," said Perry. DJ the dog barked in response before they followed Simon to the office in the library. As Simon guides Zane and Perry to the office, they make it to the office that is filled with astronomy and academic vibes. "Whoa!" said Perry, amazed to see the library office. "Amazing, isn't it?" said Simon. "Very amazing," said Zane and Perry.
Simon pulls out his laptop from his backpack, places it on the office desk, and opens the laptop before turning it on. "Jemena and I have been colleagues in the library since she was first hired in this library, we even studied astronomy and astrology to research the zodiac signs and constellations on the web and books that have astrology," said Simon.
"Really?" asked Zane. "Yep, we write down what the zodiac signs mean and what the traits are in each zodiac sign. And there are many clues that we noticed something suspicious about our old friend named Ian Eden," said Simon. "Ian Eden?" said Zane, not knowing who Ian was. "He's a co-worker in the library, working as the librarian assistant," said Simon. "Has he been jealous of my mother before her death?" asked Perry. "I don't think he's a jealous man, but he was jealous of men talking to Jemena because he was obsessed with her," said Simon. "He was?" asked Zane. "Yep, he has feelings for her. He told her how he felt about her, but she turned him down because she was with someone else before, and he didn't take it well after this rejection. He's still friends with her but still has feelings for her. I believe he's the suspect in the murder as well," said Simon. "Are you sure that Ian Eden killed my aunt - my cousin's mother?" asked Zane. "Yes, I'm sure that he might've killed Jemena," said Simon. "Then, I guess me and my cousin have the suspect in our hands to take him to the police or turn himself in," said Zane. Perry nodded in agreement, he wrote down the suspect's name in his investigation journal.
"You're writing the suspect's name down?" asked Zane. "Yeah, just to make sure that we'll know the name on my investigation journal," said Perry. "OK, fair enough," said Zane.
"Just like his father," said Simon, chuckling with happiness. "You know my father, too?" said Perry. "Certainly, your father and I were classmates in one of the Canadian schools in our high school years. We worked together on a school project in the past, too. He told me that he's gonna be a detective after graduation when he thought about going to college to attend the investigation course," said Simon. "Really?" asked Perry. "Indeed, but when I found out about your father's disappearance. He called me, saying that someone was after him. He went somewhere safe, out of Canada. I don't know where he was back then after you were born or when you were little, he told me to tell you that your father loves you so much and he will see you again someday, and also he said that he's gonna be alright out in the world," said Simon.
"Oh, I miss my father, too. I hope he's still alright," said Perry. "Me, too, son. Oh, and, here's what Ian Eden looks like in the picture," said Simon as he pulled out the picture of Ian Eden from the wall in the office room and gave the picture to Zane. Zane and Perry looked at the old picture of Ian. "He looked like he's in the mugshot in the picture," said Perry. "I think so," said Zane. "So, Mr. Stacy, has Ian ever been arrested before?" asked Zane. "Well, he told me that he got arrested for the first time for stalking in the past," said Simon. "So, where is Ian Eden now?" said Zane. "After the murder of Jemena, the cops told me that he's on the run and Ian never came to the library that much. He came in one time, and then he disappeared," said Simon.
After the conversation with Simon... Zane and Perry left the library with their dog DJ, still unaware that they were being followed and spied on by Dalilah behind them.
While walking into Vancouver city, they ran into the mischievous twins named Gretta and Trevor Cortez in the streetway who were pretending to be pet washers. "Hey, excuse me, guys," said Gretta. "Hey, what's up?" said Perry. "Hey," said Zane. "We would love to give your pet some washing up, the money will be 20 dollars and then your pet will be all cleaned up in the bathtub right away at the pet store," said Trevor. Gretta nodded, agreeing with her twin brother. "OK, we'll give you 20," said Perry. "Um, Perry, I don't think it's gonna be a great idea to give them money," said Zane. "Why?" asked Perry, after he pulled out the 20 dollars out of his pocket. "Because they don't have any licenses showing anywhere, but they wore yellow blouses to make themselves look like workers for pets," said Zane.
"Thank you, dude, for the 20 dollars," said Gretta with a sneaky expression on her face, along with her brother who also made a sneaky face as well. "See you later, suckers!" said Trevor, talking to Zane and Perry before he and Gretta ran away. "Get them!" said Zane and Perry. Zane, Perry, and their dog begin to run after them, they run to the right path where the alley between the boxing center and the other store in Vancouver City. They ran inside the boxing center, startling the fighters who saw the chase.
"What the?!" shouted the bodybuilder named Bruce Mirage as he saw the chase as well. Zane and Perry ran out of the boxing center, they caught the twins who were outnumbered by Dalilah. "Hey," said Zane. "You again?" asked Perry, talking to Dalilah who stopped the Cortez twins with her witch powers.
"Hello again, I made it to the rescue," said Dalilah, talking to Zane and Perry. "OK, here, take the money back. We're the scammers, OK?" said Trevor, admitting the truth as he gave the 20 dollars back to Zane and Perry. Gretta nodded, admitting the truth as well. "Thanks for the refund," said Perry, talking to the Cortez twins with an unsatisfied look. "Who are you?" asked Gretta, talking to Dalilah. "I'm Dalilah Bluebird, the half-witch and the half-siren," said Dalilah. "You're so gorgeous," said Trevor, talking to Dalilah. "Thank you. Now, I demand you two to apologize to Zane and his cousin," said Dalilah. "We're sorry, OK?" said Trevor. "Like you mean it," said Dalilah. "We're sorry," said Gretta and Trevor, apologizing the right way. "It's OK, we forgive you," said Zane. "Yeah, just don't steal from us - never scamming us or anyone else ever again," said Perry. "OK, we won't," said Trevor. "What's going on here?" asked Bruce as he exited the boxing center. "Getting the problem solved," said Dalilah.
