As they made it to Portland, Maine from the train and bus, they checked in the hotel around Portland to find a room to stay in tonight. The hotel in Maine is called Portland Harbor Hotel, so they went to one of the hotel rooms they checked in.
"This is such an amazing hotel in Maine, I wish we could stay in Maine someday," said Perry. "Yeah, this hotel is so cozy and beautiful here," said Zane. "Yep, it is," said Dalilah. "So, where are we gonna find Mr. William's friend?" asked Bruce. "I don't know, but he might be working around the lighthouse or mining somewhere to find more crystals there," said Zane. "I guess we're gonna have to look around the town to find him around the lighthouse," said Dalilah. "I agree," said Zane.
In Ikenna's house around Canada... Zane and Perry's family are staying with Ikenna for a while until they wait for things around their home to be back to normal. Jack and Imani hang out with their cousins and have fun with them. Kevlyn started to call Zane on her cell phone to see if he was doing OK, and Zane answered back and said, "Hello?"
"Hey, honey, it's your mother," said Kevlyn, on the phone.
"Hey," said Zane, on the phone.
"How's your trip going? Are you still looking for clues?" asked Kevlyn, on the phone.
"Yes, ma'am. But it's going to take a long journey, we're in Maine, and my minivan is at the train station," said Zane, on the phone.
"You and Perry are in Maine?!" said Kevlyn, panicking on the phone.
"Mom, there's no need to panic. Tá muid ceart go leor i Maine (English: We're OK in Maine)," said Zane.
"Tá brón orm, mil (English: Sorry, honey), don't worry, honey. We'll get your car, where is it?" said Kevlyn.
"It's in the Amtrak Niagara Falls train station," said Zane.
"OK, I'll call your auntie right away so she can get your car out of the train station, OK?" said Kevlyn.
"OK, Mom, I'm sorry I didn't tell you that we're in Maine, we're safe and sound," said Zane.
I know, honey, it's OK. Stay safe on your journey, I love you," said Kevlyn.
"Love you, too, Mom," said Zane. "Love you too, Aunt Kevlyn," said Perry, shouting in the background on the phone.
"Bye, sweeties," said Kevlyn.
"Bye, mom," said Zane.
At the end of the phone call conversation...
Zane ends the call on his cell phone. "Was that your mother?" asked Gretta. "Yeah, she called my phone today and I let her know that my minivan's in the Amtrak station and that my aunt from my mother's side is gonna get it," said Zane. "Oh, OK," said the Cortez twins, together.
Zane and the others took a bus ride to find the mining center, the bus headed to the destination around Maine to the beach around the Pemaquid Lighthouse. As the bus drove in the right direction of the road, they made it to the Pemaquid, and the bus stopped there. Zane and the others got off the bus, they began to explore the beach to find the lighthouse and William's friend. They walked toward one another until they made it to the lighthouse. They looked around to see if William's friend was around at the Pemaquid Lighthouse.
"Is he there yet?" asked Perry. "I don't know, I have no clue where he is. I think he's mining somewhere," said Zane. Dalilah walks to the ocean waves, she puts her hand in the water, and the ocean flows vibration to her as a psychic message. "The ocean tells me that he's around here somewhere," said Dalilah. "Are you sure?" asked Zane. "Yes, I think so," said Dalilah. "Say, what are you guys doing here?" asked the blacksmith man who noticed the group. "Oh, hi, sir," said Perry. "Hello, are you William Wesley's friend?" said Zane. "Why, yes, I am. Who are you guys, and how did you know about my close friend?" said the blacksmith.
"Because he sent us here to find you and we need you to help us," said Zane. "Help you with what?" asked the blacksmith, confused. "To find my aunt's killer who poisoned her, we heard that you worked in the mines to find crystals and collect them, did you?" said Dalilah. "Yep, it's true, it's my job to work in the mine around this place," said the blacksmith. "So, what's your name?" said Bruce. "I'm Atticus, Atticus Wolanski," said the blacksmith, revealed to be Atticus Wolanski, the Polish-American friend of William Wesley. "I'm Zane," said Zane. "I'm Perry, this is Dalilah, Gretta, Trevor, and Bruce, we're here to find and talk to you," said Perry. "And there's something we have to show you," said Zane.
Zane pulls out the ruby and the blue goldstone from his backpack, showing them to Atticus. "Wait, are these?" said Atticus. "Yes, the ruby and the blue goldstone with the chakra symbols written in them," said Zane. "William called me about them earlier the other day on the phone," said Atticus, remembering the phone call conversation with William. "Really?" asked Perry. "Yeah, I remember. Come with me, I also have someone who is an alchemist," said Atticus.
Atticus guides Zane and the group to the lighthouse to head inside, they enter the lighthouse. As they get inside, they meet an old friend of William and Atticus named Alicia Oleastro, the Spanish alchemist.
"Oh, hello there, Welcome to Maine, amigos," said Alicia, talking to Zane and the group when they entered the lighthouse. The group says hi to Alicia. "We have two crystals that have the Chakra symbols, they came to Maine to inform us from William," said Atticus, talking to Alicia.
Zane shows the two chakra symbols written crystals to Alicia, Alicia is amazed to see the written crystals. "This one on the ruby is the root chakra, the blue goldstone has the throat chakra. These crystals are written by someone magical and spiritual somewhere around the world. I believe that there is a powerful person who is letting us know that there is a vision of the world that is foretold," said Alicia, examining the two crystals in Zane's hand. "Are you sure, for real?" asked Perry. "Yes, I do believe that. There is someone who has the magic who will help you stop the dangers that are coming to Mother Earth," said Alicia. "And who's that?" asked Zane.
"That would be my niece, her mother - my sister who was a witch went missing and my niece has to watch their home in the woods of Maine. My niece's name is Amalia, she's the witch," said Alicia.
