* Narrators POV*
Arabella and her friends had been out for hours. Their constant giggling and happiness flowed into the atmosphere causing nothing but love.
They had decided to ride to a beach. After Arabella's whining that it would be much funnier than roaming the streets. They were now on the sand with their horses sprinting.
Zon'Clare watched the girls intensely. He let out the occasional chuckle but quickly straightened his face when he remembered the serious conversation he would have to have with Katherine later.
Arabella enjoyed every second of this hangout. She admired the little details it gave. Like the way every horses hair would blow in the wind as they ran or the way the setting sun glistened on the water.
Her and her group stayed out until it got dark. Eventually leaving the beach and heading to a small local restaurant. Once they reached it they sat down and ate dinner. Though Arabella didn't have much.
Zon'Clare sat a couple of tables away. Always watching out for Arabella and danger that could come her way. While he was isolated he realized he had started to feel some affection towards Arabella.
Disregarding that he continued to do his job effectively. After some time the group of girls had their parents send them taxis to go home. Except for Arabella who had decided to ride her horse home with Zon'Clare.
Now they are a few blocks away from the castle.
*Arabella's POV *
"You acted horrible towards those people." Zon'Clare spoke coldly. He quickly put his hair in the bun he usually has it in. "No I didn't?" I respond offended. "Making fun of the poor isn't horrible?"
Zon'Clare scoffs. "I wasn't making fun."
"Then what were you doing?"
"I wasn't simply pointing out the obvious." I roll my eyes.
"Why were you acting like that?" The dominance is Zon'Clare's voice is now very noticeable.
"You're being dramatic. I wasn't acting like anything. Me and my friends had a laugh sue me." I turn my head towards the road. "Having a laugh is different that insulting the poor and turning them into a joke."
"Ok fine! So sorry I'm not poor." He looks at him with disgust in his eyes. "You have no idea how it feels to be less privileged and it shows."
"You were just the kindest little girl a couple of hours ago. Don't let friendship change you." The most basic speech ever.
"Ok Zon'Clare."
"That's Sir to you. Until you get your act together." God whatever. After twenty minutes of awkward and very very very uncomfortable silence we make it to the castle and I approach a guard outside.
"Good evening Sir. Could you put my horse up for me?" He nods at me and I lightly smile. "Why aren't you always that kind? Do you have to know a person to give them the luxury of respect?"
"Honestly Yes." He huffs disappointed. I walk into the castle and head straight to Katherine. How I've missed her. And as much as I don't want to admit it feels realer when I actually accept it. I miss her milk too.
I see Charlotte while I'm looking for my Kat.
She walks a little faster so she can get to me. "Hiya Momma!" She smiles widely at me and I feel my mind start to slip.My legs get a little wobbly and I make uppy hands towards Momma. "Momma has a little baby in her hands doesn't she?" She picks me up and coos at me. I'm thirsty and Momma isn't Mommy but I don't really care.
I pull at the throat of her dress and whine.
"Hm. Baby I'm not your Mommy but I'm sure she won't mind. Momma always pulls through for you."She pulls down the top of the dress she is wearing and unclamps her bra with one hand. I'm amazed by that but get distracted when I feel a little milk drop on my arm. I realize I can drink now and I quickly latch on.
"Momma's Milk tastes different than Mommy's but it's still very good. I can feel the warm milk pass through my body and I feel so calm. The yummy milk is slightly thick but a little less sweet than Mommy's.
We walk into a room. I only realize we've walked into a room because of the sudden change of the light tone as my eyes are closed.
"Awhhhhh." I can hear a lot of people around me. "Here Charlotte. Give her to me." I feel my mouth get pull of Mommas breast and I whine. "Oh shush baby you're Mommy is right here."
I get handed to someone else who I recognize as my mommy and another breast is popped into my mouth. I quickly start drinking again and tune out the voices around me.
There is one sentence that I pick up though. "This little one right here was being mean to a lady this afternoon. She'll be experiencing her first punishment." I notice that Mommy's hand that is already patting my bum starts patting a little hard. Almost like a warning.
Hours go by. I eventually stop drinking milk and I am just laying in Mommy's arms. Mommy did leave briefly to get me a diaper after I peed on Ma's lap which everyone found very funny except for me and her.
Now everyone is saying there goodbyes . Turns out all my Moms don't live in Mommy's castle and they have to go check up on their own kingdoms. But they reassured me that they'd be back so soon I wouldn't even realize they were gone.
I believe them. After I hugged all my moms and gave them a kiss mommy leads me to my nursery to have a talk.
We're sitting on my crib. "Zon'Clare told me you were being mean baby. Is that true?" I don't answer her. Zon'Clare is a meanie for snitching and I don't deserve to be getting in trouble.
"Answer me Missy." I nod. "I don't condone bullying. Especially bullying the poor. You'll be going in time out for five minutes." I gasp and snap my head towards her. "Yes Arabella. Five whole minutes. And you'll be saying sorry to every person you laughed at."
I sulk at her. I want to make a snappy remark. Insult her for punishing me but five minutes is already almost an eternity.
"Go in the corner baby." I get off my crib and walk over to one of the corners of my nursery. Mommy follows behind me. She pets my hair and looks down at me. "Remember I love you baby."
Mommy walks out the room and I start sobbing.
What can I say I don't do well with punishment.
If you're confused who is who go back to the chapter where I explained everyone's title.
