Just like when the mercenaries came to remnant all those years ago, Katya was experiencing all the 21st century amenities she had been longing for back home in Tarkov for a long time. The hot shower, clean toilet, abundant shampoos, body washes, and conditioners. It was all euphoric for Katya. All the soot, sweat, and dust on her was just gone in an instant, and she got to stay here for however long. The future was uncertain still, but she figured she would enjoy it as best as possible.

The battle had ended a few hours ago only, and it was night now. Life had returned to normal irrespective of the breach in the middle of Vale earlier. Maybe for some, it was a time to grieve for the lives lost during the attack, for others a time to rest like those who had taken part in the actual fighting, for most however it was simply something on the news.

After everything was done and dusted, the Tarkov originals brought her to the one known as Ozpin. He helped explain the many questions she had about what had been going on around her. It was confirmed this wasn't earth anymore, and she was in a completely different world separate from earth courtesy of a Terragroup device she had found in a secret laboratory. This lab wasn't the one Texas, and his gang had found the original device in. It was different. Another one, located under the suburbs of Tarkov City which had a presumably similar purpose to the original.

But a real discussion into the Terragroup matter would be done so another day. For now, she was to live with team RWBY, who seemed like better hosts than the mercenaries. The ones that seemed like a hardy rowdy bunch, another one, and a girl no less would invite utter disaster.

The generosity Katya had received from the people in this world was unparalleled. She got all the living essentials she needed to live in a civilian environment like extra more normal clothes, toothpaste, brushes, etc.

Once she was satisfied with having enjoyed the steaming hot shower, Katya turned the water off and dried herself with a towel. Once putting on a fresh newly purchased white tank top and black white striped shorts, she exits the bathroom, pulling the sliding door open. Team RWBY, were there doing their night routines, all members present. Ruby was studying on her top bunk while Weiss performed her rigorous skincare routine at a dresser with a mirror intent on not letting her beauty dry up after an extended period of not being able to perform the proper maintenance. Yang then burst through the door, patting her stomach with Blake following her closely behind.

"Now that's what I call supper..." she says before burping.

"You really are a different kind of being." Blake commented in response.

"Hey, when you're out for as long as a time we were, you'd want a big juicy big burger too!"

"You ate 5 of them." The loud burp from Yang only reinforced Blake's comment about her devouring an inhuman amount of food.

As the two spoke in the doorway, still having not closed the front door behind themselves, Katya navigated around them to her place of rest. It was literally just her backpack in an empty open corner of the dorm that she had claimed for herself. The moment she got down onto the ground, she got to rest her head against her backpack as a pillow while the rest of her body lay on the ground flat. Ruby turned her eyes away from work to her, wondering if she had gotten any sort of mattress or even just a sleeping bag.

"Katya, you don't have a mattress?" She asked.

Katya gave her a side eye look as she responded in quick order.

"No. This is already good enough. I slept like this in Tarkov anyway..."

Without even looking at Katya, her eyes were too preoccupied with brushing her long snow white strands of hair. Weiss spoke up, noticing a certain location that Katya had mentioned.
