His soft emerald eyes searched me. I had some visible marks on me. My face also had red tinge to it from being slapped.
"Are you harmed?" Ignis asked me softly. I wasn't the most vocal right now. I shake my head slowly but he wasn't buying it.
The specks of blood were a giveaway, that was on the ground.
"Noct.." Ignis breathed. "Yes Ignis?" "Let's return.. I would like some time to think things through. Tend to ___. If that's alright."
"Of course it is Iggy. We have time still." Noctis felt his eyes water. He was seeing me stand there before them, a little bit shaken from the thugs, but still alive. He wanted to help.
"___. Are you sure your okay?" Noctis kneeled down in front of me.
"Highness.." Ignis gasped. Seeing his King kneeling in front of the one he liked a lot.
Noctis looked up at me with those crystal-coloured eyes. He lightly smiled, trying to make me feel better.
"I have... some pain... don't worry though." Noctis touches the top of my head. "Okay but let us know if you need help. Now please come back with us." Ignis felt feelings wash over him. Seeing his King being ever so kind and patient with his favourite person.
Noctis held his hand out me. Helping me stand. I felt my body sting. Both men looked at me then at each other. They could see the pain in my eyes.
"We will walk you back." Noctis spoke, while Ignis nodded.
Noctis ended up walking me all the way to the hallways where my room was. Ignis had some things he needed to do. He was thankful that Noct was there to cover for his absence.
"How do you feel?" Asked Noct.
I sighed." I think I'll need some pain relief medicine."
"Im glad you're okay. I haven't seen such anger reflect in Ignis for so long, seeing ____ like that made him upset."
I sighed. "So much for my peaceful trip out. I didn't even get to buy something I liked as a memory, and now my phone was busted."
I didn't have the money to repair my phone. I pulled the damaged phone out of my pocket.
Noctis glanced at the smashed screen on the phone. "Sorry for that, if we got there sooner. Could have saved it." He said.
"It's not your fault." I replied. "I didn't even get the chance to go window shopping," I said frustrated.
Noct led me inside my quiet room. He turned the little fireplace on for me. "Thought you might like a little more warmth."
"Thanks, Noctis."
"Do you have any requests for dinner?" The King asked. I was too shy to ask for specific food."No.. nothing." I didn't want to bother them more. "Alright then. Ignis will probably show up some time with food. If you would like to be alone I would tell him."
I thought for a moment."...I would like to be alone.. for the rest of tonight, if he can just place my food by the door that will be great."
"Understood. I will let him know. Take care ____. See you again when you feel better. Don' worry about your duties right now."
"Are you sure? I mean you I do work for you."
"Yes, but you also live here. Don't worry, we got this till you are ready."
Noctis left the room. I head off to take a hot shower. I needed some relaxing and rest.
