Sydney's POV
"Hello." I said sleepily as I answered my phone.
"Hey where are you?" Mary asked from the other end.
"I'm home why?" I replied confused.
"You were supposed to be at my house thirty minutes ago." She replied.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"11:30." She said.
"I'll be there as soon as I can." I told her.
"Okay, bye." She said.
"Bye." I said hanging up. I climbed out of bed and took a quick shower changing into a light pair of ripped jeans and a beige sweater over top a white tank top. I let my hair fall in its natural waves and put on a beige beanie. I grabbed my phone, wallet, and keys while slipping on my beige flats. I locked the door and began walking to Mary's house. She has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. The ten minute walk past by fast and I was soon at her door step.
"Honey I'm home." I yelled turning to close the door and slip off my shoes.
"In the kitchen." Mary yelled back. I ran to the kitchen because Mary isn't the greatest cook and found her and the floor covered in hamburger and I'm assuming tomato sauce.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I tried to make meatloaf." Mary said innocently.
"Go clean up and I'll make some spaghetti." I told her smiling at the scene in front of me.
"Okay." She said leaving to go clean up.
I pulled out my iPod and turned it on. I went to my One Direction playlist and played "Irresistible". I love the way Liam sounds in it and I began singing along. I stood up to get a clean rag and slid in the sauce.
"Careful there Love." A British accent chuckled and it just so happened to belong to the Liam Payne.
"Thanks Liam." I said thankful that I didn't fall.
"You're welcome." He said then looked at the mess. "Mary?"
"Yep." I answered.
"Well everyone this is Sydney, Mary's beautiful best friend." Liam said moving so I could see the rest of the guys.
"Hello!" I said grabbing another rag slightly blushing at his comment.
Liam's POV
"Here let me. You go sit down I'll clean this." I told Sydney.
"No, I got it." She said sweetly.
"Mary's my sister you shouldn't have to clean up after her." I said.
"Pwease iam." Sydney said sweetly giving me her best puppy dog face. I just wanted to wrap her in my arms and hold her forever.
"Sorry." I told her and picked her up sitting her at the table as I finished cleaning up the mess.
"Hey Sydney Chad called and he wants to take me out for lunch do you mind." Mary said walking into the room and hugging me.
"Sure I'll just come back later then." Sydney said. "Just call and I'll come back."
"No stay." I said.
"No Liam I'll just be in the way and besides why don't you just hang out with the guys." She said.
"Pwease ydney." I said giving her the puppy dog face.
"Bye Liam" she said getting up to leave. I can't let her leave.
Sydney's POV
"Niall quick use your cuteness." Liam ordered. Then Niall appeared in front of me giving me a puppy dog face that I just can't say no to.
"Okay I'll stay." I told them. "Bye, Mary. Have fun."
"I will." Mary said and left.
"I'm hungry." Niall whined.
"You guys like spaghetti?" I asked. They all nodded their heads. "Alright, Liam will you be my helper?"
"Sure." he said and we began to make spaghetti. He was doing the noodles and I made the sauce.
"Boys food." I yelled to them then the next thing I knew Liam wiped sauce on the tip of my nose.
Liam's POV
"Liam." Sydney said after I wiped the sauce on her.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Not fair." She said.
"Now why is that?" I asked curiously smiling.
"Because you don't have any to match." She said placing some on the tip of my nose.
"Better?" I asked.
"Yep." She said.
"We can come back later if you prefer." Harry said winking at us.
"No come eat." Sydney told him and handed them all a bowl.
"Come here Sydney." I said grabbing a wet rag and gently wiped the sauce off. She was so beautiful and I just wanted to lean in and kiss her.
"Who's up for a game of truth or dare?" Louis asked after we ate.
"Me." we all said but Sydney.
"Don't you want to play?" I asked.
"No, I'll just watch." She answered.
"Come on please play. We won't dare you to do anything to crazy." I said.
"Okay." She got up and we all headed to the living room.
We had been playing for a while and it was Zayn's turn.
"Liam truth or dare?" Zayn asked.
"Truth." I answered to be on the safe side.
"Do you fancy Sydney?" He asked. I saw Sydney look down at the floor.
"Yes." I said.
Sydney's POV
My head shot up to look at him and he looked completely serious. "Really?" I asked.
"Of course how could I not? You're so sweet, kind, caring, and beautiful." Liam replied making me blush.
"Okay. Sydney Truth or dare?" Louis asked.
"Dare." I answered bravely.
"I dare you to kiss Liam." he answered. I looked at the ground smiling then looked up to have Liam sitting in front of me. We both leaned in and kissed.
"Sydney I love you. I have loved you since the first time we met. You are the most beautiful girl that I have ever laid eyes on and you are always on my mind. I love everything about you. The way you smile, the way your eyes sparkle, your musical laugh and so much more. Will you please be my girlfriend?" Liam said sweetly causing me to smile.
"Yes, I would love to." I told him. So many times I have wished he asked me that and he finally did. I was finally my crush's girlfriend.
