Orange juice shoots out of my mouth like a squirt gun battle is taking place in our kitchen.
"I...You..." I pause as the shock and surprise fall over me. "There's...what?"
"I'm kidding." She admits while she tries to calm her laugh down. "That would be too soon. I think we both know we have a lot of planning to do."
Looking somewhat confused, she quickly reaches for her phone in her pocket. She fumbles to grab it but finally pulls it out.
"Speaking of which. I have a group of planners getting everything set up. I hope that is okay."
"Wait!" I say as confusion rapidly grows on my face.
A feeling of shock mixed with anger falls over me as I push off the counter and begin to walk toward her.
"You are already planning the wedding? What exactly are these people you hired planning? Don't I have any input on this? We haven't even discussed what we might like as a theme for the wedding."
"You already told me!" She argues with a confused look on her face.
"You got drunk one night and told me your dream wedding." She explains. "I plan on making it come true. Is that what you wanted? I am sorry if I overstepped a boundary. I truly did not think about talking to you about it first."
"Wait, wait, wait!" I exhale, rubbing my head in confusion and disappointment. "Don't you have any dream wedding thoughts? And you want to make my dream wedding come true? Do you know how much that is going to cost? And are you sure it's the dream wedding I wanted?"
"Bora Bora." She interrupts.
She smiles and slowly slides her hand across the counter. She is looking down and I can see the excitement sitting on her face.
"A white wedding with your favorite band playing in the background. You want a golden entrance for your closest family and friends. My dream wedding was like what you want."
She presses her lips together and glances up at the ceiling. She makes it obvious that she's in deep thought.
"You want the most beautiful lavender and lilacs." She continues. "While your dress flows with every step you take. I know what you want. And I want to give you the best of the best. Do not worry about the cost or getting everyone there. That will be paid for...Besides...What's the use of money if you can't use it on the most important things in life."
There's excitement in my breath as I exhale. I imagine being in Bora Bora with everyone right on the beach hearing my wedding song being played.
"Babe!" I smiled and skipped over to her. "You are my forevermate! This is a huge surprise and now I feel like shit that I had to make you admit to it."
I purposely give her my pouty face and pucker my lips. I lean in, quickly stealing a kiss from her.
The soft press of her lips against mine makes me forget everything in this world but her. It causes me to slide my hands down her back and wrap them around her waist. I feel the soft rub of her fingers against my back as my tongue slides across hers.
I pull back and stop our kiss, wiping my finger across my bottom lip. "We have to stop. I am...getting a little too excited and we have too much to do today."
I slide my hand slowly down her chest and wiggly my nose. "Can I ask for a raincheck? Tonight?" I ask and quickly steal another kiss.
I tease her by brushing my lips against hers and quickly pulling away. She is getting anxious, and I can feel the warmth of her lips increasing every time I press against them. I enjoy playing around with her and I enjoy driving her wild.
