The sound of glass shattering grabs my attention. I push through the bar doors, enter back into the bar, and see a small scuffle.
"What's going on in here?" I yell, analyzing the bar.
From what it looks like, the bikers are harassing Gemma and Rya, which sets a raging fire inside of me.
"What in the fuck is going on here?" I yell while preparing myself to fight whoever I have to. "I will whoop the shit out of every one of you, and if you don't believe me, come try it, cocksuckers! My gun will be next!"
"Bitch!" One of the bikers yells back. "You don't have a gun, or else you would have used it already."
Gemma looks terrified as the biker pulls on her arm, tugging her toward him. She tries pulling away, but he fights to keep her near him.
Derek pushes through the front door, seeing what's going on. He quickly jumps into the fight, swinging a fist.
I watch as his fist meets the guy's nose, and the guy drops like a sack of potatoes. I have never seen Derek fight. He is well-built and was training for boxing when he was at the height of his music career but seeing him in action is surprisingly amazing.
Derek ducks while another guy tries to swing at him. The guy misses. Derek bounces back up and swings at the guy's ribs. The guy curls over and drops to the ground.
"That's two men down mother fuckers!" He yells while holding his arms out with a cocky smile. "You came to the wrong bar and messed with the wrong people. I have been trained for these exact moments. Who's next bitches! I'll take you all on at the same time and you will still go down."
"I think we can agree." One of the bikers says. He releases Gemma from his hands. I watch as he surprisingly runs away from the table and pushes through the wooden front door so hard that I can hear the hinges and I never hear those hinges.
Derek puts his fists up ready to fight the last two guys. One of them stays sitting. He looks up unenthused with no fear in his eyes.
"Listen, youngster." The guy's voice is deep and raspy.
He is a big guy. If I guessed... when he walked in, I would say six and a half feet if not more. He is wearing sunglasses inside the bar and has a bandana wrapped around his head. His beard is thick, and his attitude is thicker.
"I'm not even part of that group." The burly man admits. "I just rode with them. And if you think you will win, by taking me on, you are sorely mistaken. I don't lose, kid. I will give you credit, though. You have one hell of an arm, but not enough to take on this big monster."
I watch as Derek moves closer to the giant biker. Natalia pushes through the door while looking back at the remaining bikers leaving the parking lot.
"Holy...what the hell did I walk into." She says with wide eyes and stepping around a scared Jared. "Babe! What the hell is going on."
"Firstly. Rya and Gemma are officially a couple." I say, looking toward the two of them. "And these bikers just tried harming the two of them. Derek took down three now and that big one claims he isn't part of that group."
"I didn't touch either girl!" The biker argues. "I am not with those men. Those men are a bunch of pansy-ass bitches. The nearest bar is twenty miles away. I want a beer and I will leave you after I finish it. I refuse to apologize for the actions of those guys. I did not do anything. I do admit that it wasn't cool for them to do that."
The big biker is the only one left from the group that came in. Oddly enough I feel like he's telling the truth and even odder, I trust him and have no idea why. Something about him. He is not afraid of anyone or anything. He was with the group that tried hurting the girls, but he was right, he sat there the entire time.
Shaking my head in anger and disgust, I spin around and follow grabbing him a beer.
Derek steps forward as if he's ready to fight this guy and he needs to step back.
"Derek, enough," I say, stopping him. "Let him have his beer and then he can be on his way. He's an ass, but I will honor him with his beer."
He swipes the beer from my hands. "I'm not an ass, little lady." He argues. He takes a giant swig, swallows, and exhales a bunch of relief.
"Can I be honest?" He says and leans forward. His big stature hardly fits in the booth. "I met those guys this morning. I was driving through. I am from Wisconsin and heading to Florida and ride with them. I do not believe in apologizing for something I did not do, but I will say that was not cool of them. If it were not for this blonde pretty boy having some fighting skills, I'd taken them down before allowing them to hurt those innocent girls."
"I'm not saying you're lying," I argue. "But a lot is going on here and I don't know what to believe.
"If you don't believe me, look me up on any social media site little lady." The guy takes another sip of his beer. He slides his hand into his pocket and tosses me his identification card. "When you find it, you'll understand." He looks up at the TV.
I turn around and head for the bar. Natalia hands me my phone. "Thanks, babe!" I say with a smile and quickly search for the guy.
"What?" I loudly state in surprise. "You're 'the' "Jack Randall!"
He slides his sunglasses off and removes his bandana. Sure, enough Jack Randall is in my bar, and somehow ended up with the wrong group of people. "Now may I have that second beer?"
My eyes are wide, my mouth is dropped open, and my forehead is scrunched. Jack Randall was a famous cowboy movie star. Now he is much older, but I bet he can still whoop anyone's ass. They make jokes about Jack Randall and how he could take down anyone and anything.
"Give the man as much beer as he wants," I say while shoving my phone into Derek's face. "I am so sorry to up and leave you like this, but my staff will take particularly diligent care of you. I have an appointment to attend, and I hope I can get a picture with you before I leave."
Jack Randall smiles and sets his beer down. "Young lady. You have been very hospitable given the unfortunate circumstances that have arisen. I do promise I wasn't going to let any of them assclowns any satisfaction from hurting those pretty ladies."
Derek quickly snaps a picture of us, and I walk back over to the bar. I glance over at Gemma and Rya while feeling slightly jealous and guilty. I need to stop feeling this way about those two.
Natalia wraps her arms around me and at once connects her lips to mine. I feel that soft and sensual drive that she has, and it fills me with love and desire.
"Just what I needed!" She says and rubs her cheek against mine. "Don't tell me those two didn't make you feel a little jealous. I figured this public display of affection would do you some justice."
"Do you want to drive me to my appointment?" I softly question but starting to want more than just an appointment.
She gives me that playful seductive smile she has while biting on her bottom lip. Her soft eyes look me up and down.
"I'll ride you wherever you want, babes!"
"Yuck! And you don't get to call her that!" I hear Rya's jealous voice right behind me. "She is still my girl...my babes and always will be. I have had several relationships. Don't think it stops me from being her best friend." She presses her arms against my back and runs her fingers through my hair. "What is your appointment for anyways...babes!"
I shake my head, not wanting to say it. "They have to do a biopsy."
The entire bar falls silent.
