*Zara's P.O.V*

A room full of them...

A room full of blantleys, my worse night mare.

"Blantley" is my moms maiden name, she never took on my fathers name for either of us and it took an argument for Joe to double Barrel my moms and joes second names for Ruby.

They are a horrible family, I put emphasis on "horrible" because that's what they are, I don't even know why? My grandfather was such a good guy, Apparently they take after my grandmother but she was even nice.

What happened?

I sat in the hall way with some tea and a half eaten sandwich that Patrick half ate, I nibbled a bit of it because I wasn't that hungry.

Patrick is gone to help max get some stuff, Max wanted to stay the night and Patrick and Max are so in love with eachother that they are comparing Xbox games and films for the night.

I'll be left by myself but that's good, mindfulness for me and the baby.

All of a sudden there was a crack of a floor board, I shot my head up to see my mom standing at the stairs.  She shuffled awkwardly. "Umm, I didn't think you'd still be here.."

"I didn't think either but I'm here for Max." I replied coldly keeping my stars on the painting Infront of me.

"Ah yes, he told me he's staying at yours for the night." She stated quietly. There was more awkward silence. "He got a great send off."

"Yeah he did." I reply again quickly.

She sighs heavily, "Look Zara if you're going to be a temperamental ass-"

Excuse me.

"I'm temperamental?" I asked her sarcastically, "Oh yeah, of course I am. I think I have the right to aswell. You basically disowned me."

"Okay no one asked you to come here Zara!" She shouted.

"Yes but that's my grandfather! The man who looked after me! And taught me everything, unlike you." I argued back.

"Oh yeah? He thought you everything? Did he teach you to get pregnant at nineteen? Did he teach you to open your legs to any male attraction?" She said bitterly, just then Patrick and Max ran down the stairs and Patricia came out of the living room.

"What's wrong?!" Patricia asked.

I just looked at my mom in disgust. "You can really say that to your own daughter?" I asked her in disgust.

"You're not my daughter, you have caused nothing but stress and pain in my life Zara, it'd be better off if you never existed." She said choking out the last few words. Tears welled up in her eyes.

I stood there frozen.

"It'd be better off if you never existed."

What a bitch.

"....I'll go wait in the car." I say directing my stare to Patrick and Max.

"I'll come with you." Patricia said. Not before Patricia turned back. "I know you may have had it hard raising Zara by yourself, but disowning her and wishing she never existed. You never really were a mother were you?" Patricia said before rushing me down the steps. I looked back at her to see her hysterically crying.

My own mother hates me.

"No dude, like literally the best pizza here. Like L.A's pizza is good but not as good as Chicago's." Patrick replied sticking up for his favourite pizza place around the corner. Max and Patrick have been debating about pizza's, Patrick pro-Chicago pizza, Max pro-L.A pizza.
