"I think I blacked out."
I keep scrolling through my iPad, looking at the updates. Everyone immediately starts agreeing with each other. We arrived in Nashville about a week ago, and we spent time bonding.
We had separate bachelorette and bachelor days, and then we combined the big party, which happened last night. I completely blacked out alongside everyone else, so here we are now.
Caroline stands up from the makeup chair, making me glance at her, "Sit back down," I say, making her sit back down. I walk out of the bridal suite and go downstairs to the hotel's outdoor area to see them setting up.
"Hey, hey, hey!" I say as I drop the iPad and walk over to my workers. I take the flower arch from them and adjust it to the right angle.
I take a step back as I admire it, switch it around again, then take a step back; I place my hands on my hips as I admire it. I walk back over to my iPad and pick it up. I walk to the reception side to see my workers setting up the tables.
I stood there telling them how to set it up. Then, I helped them set up the tables before moving on to the decorations for the reception area. Once that was done, I moved back to the ceremony area, which was mostly done.
I jog back up to the bridal suite, where I see most bridal partiy with their hair and makeup done. I look around, smiling at the beautiful ladies until I find Caroline, who looks stressed.
I look at the time as I walk over to her and pull her aside, "I don't think I can do it," She says as we walk into the bathroom, and I close the door with my foot.
"Do what? They can do anything. If you want to change your hairstyle or makeup at the last minute, that's fine, Caro," I say, shaking her head. "No, I don't think I can marry him," she says, making me stand up straight.
"I have a limo with a driver who can take you wherever you want to go," I say, making her face look horrified. "Jesus, Teresa, you're supposed to tell me that I can and love him." She scoffs as she starts to smile.
"Oh, right. Yeah, you know you love him so much, and you want to be with him, and he loves every single side of you. You know him. You love him," I say, making her sigh. "See, that's better," She says.
We walk out of the bathroom, and she goes over to her glam team while I walk over to the bridal party glam team and sit down in the chair.
I tap my earpiece to answer my Nashville assistant's call. "What's going on with the food?" I ask her before looking at the team. "Hi, Teresa," they both say, making me smile. They are my Nashville bridal party glam team.
I absolutely love all my staff.
"Hi, and that's scary. Low ponytail with a few strands out, evening makeup look with dewy lips," I say, making them nod and start working. "The chefs have been prepping, and everything is going well so far; the delay with the wine is gone. As you know, we have it in stock, " my assistant says from my earpiece.
"And what about the scallops?" I ask as the makeup artist starts putting primer on my face. Scallops are fine and will be served," I say as I gesture for Lalisa to give Caroline a mimosa. She nods and gets started on making one.
"Please go check on the groom and his party, right now they should be with the photographers and videographers" I say as Caroline squeals over her mimosa, my hairstylist starts to run her fingers through my hair and my scalp making me sigh.
"Will do, will call back with an update. Everything is going great" She says as she hangs up. Abigail is my Nashville assistant, she is currently up for a promotion to become the head of my Tennessee franchise.
