T E R E S A

"La mulți aniiiiii, la mulți aniiiii"

I smile as I push my hair back behind my ears, I clap my hands together as they finish singing making me look at them. I look back down at the cake they made me, or more so the cake Florin made me.

Every year since Florin was about three years old, Jasper and Florin tried their best to  make me my favourite Romanian cake which is amandina. It tasted like absolute dog shit but they had so much fun making it, they made it a tradition.

Luckily for me, as Florin got older his skills improved making my birthday cake very enjoyable. I close my eyes as I lean over and blow out my candles making them cheer for me as I open my eyes, Jasper moves the camera into one hand as he rounds the corner and grabs me kissing me.

I smile as I place my hands on his face kissing him back, "Happy birthday dear" He says as I pull away. "Thank you hon" I say as I kiss his cheek, I squeeze Florin's cheek before kissing his head. "Happy birthday mama" He says as he hugs me and I hug him back, "Thank you fiu" I say.

"Gift time" Jasper says as he gives the camera to Florin. They let me sleep in today and basically left me alone for majority of the morning which is an absolutely perfect way to start my morning.

I grab the knife and start slicing up my cake into equal slices, I grab a plate and put a slice on it before grabbing a fork. I take a bite of the cake as I sigh and take another bite of the cake, "Amazing" I say to Florin as I continue eating.

"My gift to you is a coupon book, now that I have moved out and you stay at home. I figured you'd be lonely and missing me obviously so this book contains movie night, shopping together, spa, brunch and whatever else. There are some blanks in here so you can write it out, it never expires and you can cash it in whenever"

I frown as the tears swell in my eyes, "Florin" I frown as I put my my cake plate down and pull him into my arms hugging him. I finish chewing and swallow before kissing the top of his head repeatedly, "Băiatul meu dulce" I say as I wipe my tears with my sleeve.

Jasper comes down making me turn to see him holding a bunch of gift bags, "So I don't take all the credit. Dad is the one who gave me the idea" He says as Jasper places the bags onto the island that has a bunch of flowers on it mostly from him then my family and friends.

"Outside people let's move" He says as he turns around and gestures for us to follow him, I wipe my eyes as I tighten my grasp on Florin. He hugs me back as we follow behind Jasper, "Cover" He says as we walk outside.

Florin brings his hands to my eyes covering them making me grab his wrist, "Ce este asta?" I ask as I start to be cautious with my steps. "So for the last couple of months you have been speaking about how you are so tired of driving but you don't want a driver" Jasper says in a very dramatic voice.

"Yes I remember" I say as I smile, "Well like the amazing husband I am. I got you.....a new car" Florin removes his hand and I open my eyes staring at the black car in front of the gates. "A 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet. I know what you are thinking, you hate driving and I got you a car?" He sighs as he shakes his head.

"I have never had a Porsche before it looks beautiful-"

"Not jusy any car my kind Teresa mother of my child, a self driving one" He grins as he holds out the key for me just as the car starts up by itself and drives closer to me and Florin.

I gasp as Jasper puts the camera in my face, "You like?" I take the key from him as I grab his face kissing him multiple times. "I love and I love you" He kisses me back making Florin gag as he opens the car door.
