The soft rays of morning sunlight filtered through the classroom windows, casting gentle beams across the desks. His eyes were distant, focused on the view outside. The vast blue sky stretched endlessly above the school grounds, and he stared deeply, as if he was looking past the sky and into the Heavens instead.

When will I meet Asia? He thought. For how much longer am I to be subjected to this world and this fleshly body? I do not find much joy here in this Godless society.

A sudden flurry of whispers pulled him from his thoughts. He barely registered the chatter of his classmates at first. That is, until the door slid open and he walked in.

Yuuto Kiba, the effortlessly handsome swordsman and one of Rias's closest allies, stepped into the room with his usual confident stride. The room instantly erupted into a chorus of excited murmurs and giggles.

"Ah, Kiba-senpai, he's so dreamy!" one girl sighed.

"Is he really a second-year?" another asked, eyes wide in admiration.

Yuuto Kiba's entrance didn't last long, as he quickly scanned the room with a quiet, steady gaze. When his eyes landed on a pair of familiar faces—Issei Hyoudou and Y/N L/N—his expression softened just slightly, his usual confident demeanor shifting into something more approachable. He was here for a reason, and it wasn't to bask in the attention of his classmates.

With a nod to the teacher, Kiba moved through the aisles toward where Issei and Y/N were sitting. As he did, the murmurs of admiration softened into hushed whispers, some students exchanging puzzled glances. There were always rumors about why the Occult Research Club's members were so often seen together, and the sight of Kiba approaching the two made those rumors feel just a little more tangible.

"Issei, Y/N," Kiba greeted in his smooth, even tone, his voice carrying the quiet authority of someone who wasn't used to being questioned. "Rias asked me to bring you both to the clubroom after class. There's something important she wants to discuss."

Issei looked up from his notebook, the faintest hint of a grin spreading across his face as he leaned back in his chair, stretching his arms behind his head. "Occult Research Club, huh? Is it something about last night?" Issei said, just loud enough for Kiba to hear.

Kiba didn't immediately respond, though there was a flicker of something in his eyes—maybe amusement, or perhaps something more serious. "It's something like that, actually. Rias just wants to make sure you are informed." he added with a subtle shrug, though it was clear from his tone that whatever was about to happen in the clubroom was not just routine.

Turning to Y/N, his eyes lingered for a moment longer, as if considering something unsaid. "We'll be expecting you there. It's better if we all stay in the loop, especially now."

The weight of those words—especially now—was enough to make the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. There was a certain urgency in his voice, though it was masked by his usual calm exterior. Whatever was going on, it wasn't something that could be ignored.

Issei didn't seem to pick up on the shift in Kiba's tone. "Got it! We'll head over as soon as class lets out." He turned toward Y/N with a grin. "You're coming, right?"

He hesitated for a split second, thoughts swirling. There was something about Kiba's presence, something in the way he'd looked at him just now. It was as though there was more to this simple invitation than what he was letting on. But before Y/N could voice any concerns, Kiba was already heading toward the door, pausing to look back over his shoulder.

"Don't be late," he said simply, his tone almost like a reminder, and then he was gone, leaving behind a trail of whispers in his wake.

The moment the door closed, the class seemed to return to normal, but the atmosphere had shifted. The murmur of gossip that had swirled around Kiba now turned to speculation about what Rias could possibly want. The attention might have faded from Kiba, but it now rested squarely on Y/N and Issei.
