The hourglass is running dry,
I'm feeling lost and restricted,
Frantically searching for guidance.
Each grain of sand slips away,
An opportunity led astray.
Time murmurs sorrow,
I feel the weight.
A future so promising, yet slipping away.
It has me wondering, will time wait for me?
Or leave me sinking in the sea?
