Jay abruptly yelled out in the dorm, waking up Cole who retaliated by throwing a pillow at his face.
"Are you TRYING to wake the whole school up?" Cole mumbled angrily. "B-but..." Jay stuttered. "Today is dodgeball day."
All the boys in the room shot up. Dodgeball day. You see, dodgeball itself was already scary for people like Jay, who didn't find much fun in athletics.
Their dodgeball was different. Since they went to a school with people who possess elemental powers... well... elemental powers were allowed. And that made the game 10 times scarier. But everyone having elemental powers wasn't the scariest part.
The boys turned their head to Kai, watching an evil grin crack down his face.
Kai was a demon in dodgeball to say the least. Scratch that, Kai was a demon in every sport, but dodgeball was his favorite to terrorize everyone in. If you played dodgeball against Kai, you weren't leaving without at least one burn mark.
His homing fireball was a terrible, terrible thing.
"Come on Kai... There are ladies here, you can't possibly want to hurt them!" Lloyd chuckled nervously.
"Don't worry Lloyd, that goes against my code. I could never hurt a lady." Kai began. The boys sighed in relief.
"But... I didn't say I would never hurt competition." He quickly finished. The boys faces dropped immediately.
"Why don't we just... lock him in a room?"

"Ew, I don't wanna play fucking dodgeball. Who the hell do I look like, I just got my nails did!" Harumi pouted to Nya.
"Yeah well, there's no getting out of this you know... it's required to pass," Nya explained.
"According to Zane, dodgeball is extremely dangerous due to Nya's brother, who likes to throw fireballs at people. So I do not blame Harumi for wanting to sit this one out." Pixal cut in, splashing her face with water. (don't ask why she's doing that honestly idk either.)
All the girls turned to face Pixal, completely ignoring her warning, and much more focused on who she got the information from.
"According to whooo?" Skylor asked with a playful tone. Pixal immediately looked up with wide eyes, realizing her mistake.
Harumi leaned her head down in her palm. "Ooooh. How'd you get that information." She threw out a smirk. Pixal began blushing and waving her hands frantically. "Wait! I-it's not like that! I just gave him my number so we could study!"
Vania almost fell of her bed in awe. "You gave him your number? Wow! I didn't think you were that bold!"
"I'm not..." Pixal ran a hand down her face. "It is simply for studying. Not anything else." She then pointed at Skylor. "Stop thinking dirty."
Skylor placed a hand on her chest and gasped in offense. "Why me?!"
"Because, Skylor, you are the dirty one," Harumi teased, leaning back and inspecting her freshly done nails. "Like two minutes after Kai left you started talking about his 'form'"
Skylor opened her mouth to protest but then shut it just as quickly, a blush creeping up her cheeks. "That's not the same thing," she muttered, crossing her arms and pouting... "I was just appreciating how he works out. Nothing dirty about that."
"Right," Harumi smirked, giving her a knowing look. "Totally serious when you're 'watching his form.'"
Nya snorted, slapping her knee as she laughed. "It's okay, Skylor. You're not fooling anyone. We've all seen how you get."
