You sat up in bed, being met with your reflection in the mirror staring you down. You slid out of bed and put your hearing aids in your ears, a small amount of cursed energy leaving your body to power them.

The sound of chatter didn't flood your ears and you quickly assumed that your classmates had gone on the mission they were assigned that day.

You turned on your phone, seeing a few texts from Yuta and a text from Toge saying that they had indeed gone out on a mission.

"Gojo!" you called groggily into the hall, dragging your feet out your dorm room and shutting the door behind you.

Gojo appeared around the corner with a grin and a mug.

"Ooh, you're pretty," you said, making grabby hands at the mug as the scent of coffee wafted to your face.

He handed you the mug and you looked into the mug. "Did you drink from this?!"

"Hey, I was tired too!"

You kicked at his shin, a kick that didn't make contact, and chugged down the remaining coffee.

"Wanna go shopping or is Shoko teaching you a new thing today?" he asked.

"Shoko hasn't taught me something since she taught me how to button up my lab coat with one hand. Don't you have paperwork to do or a mission to go on?"

"Yes, but that can wait. Yuta's in Kenya and your friends are on a mission so that means we can hang out!"

"...You're a bad influence."

Gojo shrugged innocently. "You know, I'm surprised you've learned so much from Shoko."

"How so?"

"When she was trying to teach my friend and I the reverse-cursed energy technique, we couldn't get it."

"But it's pretty easy to understand, isn't it?" You stowed a few things into your purse. "It's like in math, how two negatives make a positive. It's a multiplication of the contents of your max cursed energy in order to make positive energy, which is used to heal. The difficult part is controlling the output."

You turned to Gojo, seeing him stare at you with raised brows. "Basic math...?"

"Yes. You learn this in like, grade school."

He seemed to stare even harder.

"...You did go to grade school, right?"

Silence.

"Gojo."

More silence.

"Gojo, did you go to grade school?"

He turned and began walking towards the exit.

"Hey! Don't ignore me! Do you know basic maths, Gojo?"

You walked through the streets with Gojo by your side, seeing people sneak glances at him as he towered over most of the crowd. You watched his pace slow and you looked around to see if anyone was around.

"Gojo."

You tilted your head, watching him come to a full stop.
