Gojo peered into your room, a line of light illuminating yours and Tsumiki's sleeping figures. You lied like children, curled up beneath the blanket with your hands over each other, protecting each other from nightmares.

He stepped in with the lightest steps he could muster and pulled up the blanket so it covered your shoulders a bit more. Your eyes fluttered open and you looked up at him. "Does Megumi want to sleep in the sleeping bag in my closet...?"

He shook his head. "He's fine. We're fine."

You nodded and immediately went back to sleep.

"Y/N," Megumi called into your room.

You didn't acknowledge him and kept your eyes fixed on the hole you were sewing closed on his uniform.

Megumi sighed and sat down at the end of your bed, waiting for you to turn away from your desk.

After a while, you held up Megumi's uniform, nodded satisfied, and turned your chair. You yelped, seeing him sitting there with one of your books in his hand.

You patted your desk until you found your hearing aids and you stuck them in your ears. "When did you get in here?"

"I've been here for a solid ten minutes."

"Announce your presence of something, geez." You placed Megumi's uniform neatly on your bed. "What's up?"

"You're done my uniform?"

"Yeah."

"Thanks." He glanced at the flower pot on your desk, where you kept the flowers he had given you.

You followed his gaze and smiled. "It brightens up the place, you know? The dorms are so dull sometimes. We should pick up flowers for everyone else to keep in their room!"

He hummed.

"You know, I never expected to live in a dorm or even go to Jujutsu Tech. I always thought I'd go to a normal high school... I don't even know how Gojo knew about me at all."

"I told him."

You blinked. "In what conversation did I even come up in?"

"When he first tried to take me and Tsumiki in." He thumbed through the pages of the book in his hand, eying the parts you underlined and circled. "I refused at first."

"What? Why? You didn't see how loaded he was just from his glasses?"

Megumi shot you a mean look before continuing. "I said I wasn't going anywhere without you. I told him that there was someone taking care of us already. Someone that'd probably do a better job than he would. Obviously, he wasn't a huge fan of what I said. He asked me what I'd do if he just brought you with him. I said that then we'd go."

Your mouth hung open for a while before it spread into a bashful grin. "How sweet."

"Don't think too much on it. You made it easier on Tsumiki."

"I'm sure you did, too." You pinched his nose before handing him his uniform. "Besides, just because your parents weren't there, doesn't mean you didn't deserve to be taken care of anyway. Now, don't rip that anytime within the next month, you hear me?"
