Personality Overall - Abyss is a reserved, quiet dragon. He tends not to engage in conversations with others, and to those he chooses to interact with, he tries not to get too attached to them. During conversations, he overthinks most of the things he says. He can come off as cold and emotionless to people he doesn't know well. With people he trusts, he opens up and is kind and helpful, but because of the trust issues caused by his past, no one has seen that side of him.
Development - I'm not sure right now, but he'll probably overcome those trust issues at least :)
Backstory Background - Abyss used to live with his sister and father in a small town on the border between the SeaWing kingdom and the SandWing kingdom. His father was the famous author of a series of books about the Scorching, while his sister was a famous dancer and performed at many festivals across Pyrrhia. Because of this, Abyss was approached by many different dragons wanting to be friends with him. Most of them just wanted to be closer to his father or sister, but Abyss didn't know that at the time. One of the dragons that approached him was an older SandWing called Topaz. Topaz was really friendly, and asked if he could come visit the house and talk to Abyss' dad. Abyss, being young and naive at the time, agreed and let Topaz come home with him. What he didn't expect, however, was for Topaz to immediately lash out at his father. They started fighting, and his sister yelled for him to leave and save himself. So Abyss did, and because of that, he was the sole survivor. He was traumatised by the experience, and his trust in all the dragons he had considered 'friends' had been shattered. From that day onwards, he lived in a secluded, hidden cove, and tried his best to avoid any contact with those he had known before.

Family (spoilers) Biological Mother - Unknown Relationship with her - Abyss' mother apparently left right after laying his egg. His father always refused to tell him her name.
Biological Father - Oyster Relationship with him - Abyss and Oyster were very close while he was still alive, and Abyss always aspired to be a famous author like Oyster. Now that he's gone, Abyss talks to him every night.
Sibling(s) - Coralspace Relationship with her - Abyss and Coralspace were never really close, but he always admired how devoted she was to her craft, and hoped he could be as successful as her one day.

Health Mental health - He's very traumatised and has PTSD from Topaz's actions. He also has severe trust issues, but other than that his mental health is relatively okay. Physical health - He got a deep gash on his underbelly from the fight that healed into a very long scar. He's usually decently healthy and can get enough food.
