They locked me up in a metal bar cage meant for an animal, all I did was through a needle like rock at my own unblemished father that's not animal like at all.

My cell was dark, cold and smelled like rotting flesh. There were chains around my ankles and wrists wrapped around me, making it impossible to move. My head throbbed with an aching sensation the was much worse then any headache I have had before and I couldn't remember being locked up like this which meant someone knocked me out. When I turned my head to the side I noticed a small, flat stone with an object on top. I moved slightly towards it and suddenly knew where the rotting flesh smell was coming from. A bloody finger sat on the plate, the bone stuck out at the end. It was a little bigger than mine and behind the wrinkly skin was a scar the shape of a half moon.

"Father" my voice cracked at the thought of basically eating my own flesh and blood.

Clank! I heard the sound of the steel door opening but couldn't run to make my escape.

"Are you in there?, little girl?" I heard a nervous voice call out. When he saw me, he called out for another death hunter to come help him.

"The story priest wants to talk to you" the other story priest croaks.

They undid the chains and forced me into a big empty room. It had beautiful paintings all over the walls. I could see my reflection through the shine of the marble covered floors, my hair was a mess with tiny brown hair strains all over my head. There was a small bruise near my left temple but other then that my face was fine. On the wall there were more chains waiting to hook on to me, breaking my chance of freedom. The two Death hunters held me under the arms and eventually threw me against the wall like I was a rag doll.

They fastened shackles to my wrists and ankles as they told me "Stay", treating me like an animal again. I watched as they left the room cautiously.

Soon enough the story priest had made his way into the room.

"Hello starlit" he said calmly as his voice echoed.

"Hi" I mumbled back

"Let's get right down to business because I'm a busy man and you've got no time to waste." He said and I nodded my head in confusion. "I saw you throw that rock and all the power you put into it and I...I... Want you to become a death hunter" he enthusiastically said.

I had ran it through my mind a little even though I already knew my response.

"Never" I fierily said and I could see he got offended by my answer.

"Well then, just so you know Ms. Starlit I don't take no for an answer and when I come back I want a whole different response" He said with frustration as he also left me all alone in the room.

Boredom bubbled up inside, through the tiny window all I could see was darkness lighten up by glowing stars. My father told me that the stars show images that tell a story so I scanned the sky but the window was way too small to see all of stars. I sighed. I knew my mind would never change, I had just given Vie hell about becoming the Story Priest if I became a Death Hunter I would also become an evil hypocrite.

I felt a presence near the room and put my head down, I had also heard foot steps coming my way. I briefly looked up and saw that it was Vie.

I was so angry I didn't know what to say or do but I wanted to leave a haunting imprint on him.

"The story isn't real if it was it would be much more logical, if there was only two people left on earth and in order to prevent a storm you needed to kill every day, the world would have ended again but these people don't believe in logic because logic ends stories"I calmly and confidently said. I repeated the same words he said to me along time ago.

He started to walk toward me expressionless while I had a stupid smirk on my face that I had to wipe off. "You killed an innocent man"

"So did you" the first words he said emotionally shattered me and bounced of all the walls, shaking the room like an earthquake. I struggled in my mind to find a decent comeback.

"You also killed a little boy". it was sadly the best I could do.

"More like put him out of his misery" he confidently said as if he had been planning this conversation for days, obviously I hadn't. "Face it Starlit, when they took your mother, wouldn't you of felt better if they just killed you too?"

"Well I wouldn't be feeling anything" I said sounding like a know it all "I would also rather die than become a death hunter or like you and now I would rather die then stand anywhere near you."

"Ouch" he said making it seem like my words hurt him "no need to be harsh. You know, my father didn't send me here"

"Goodbye then" I hiss at him knowing he won't go away.

"I'm here to let you go" he calmly said without any doubt in his voice.

"Thanks but no thanks" I said verbally pushing him away "I can escape on my own"

"How?" he asked holding up the thick chain attached to me.

"I don't know" I said giving in, he was my only hope of escaping. I watched as he fiddled with the brass keys and finally the chains released my ankles and wrists. From outside the room I heard whistling slowly getting louder and louder.

"Hurry" he whispered in my ear then points at a door in the room that leads outside "also do you forgive me yet?"

I start to run towards the door "Nope" I yell back as I turn around and blow him a kiss and then quickly ran out the door and had made my escape.
