SEEDS OF LOVE
Jungkook lounged on the couch, watching a movie with Jin. Both of them were engrossed in Spider-Man, their favorite superhero flick. "Hyung, one day I'll have superpowers too!" Jungkook announced with wide-eyed excitement.
Jin chuckled, "You already do!"
"Don't tease me, Hyung. I mean real superpowers, where I can protect people and help everyone. Someday, people in Busan-and everywhere, really-will look up to me," Jungkook replied with a firm look of determination. Jin couldn't help but smile and pinch Jungkook's cheeks at his younger brother's adorable earnestness.
"And how exactly do you plan on becoming this 'famous superhero'?" Jin teased, ruffling Jungkook's hair affectionately.
"I'm not sure yet," Jungkook replied, "but I just know...we're going to make Mom and Dad proud one day."
Listening to Jungkook's confident prediction, Jin couldn't quite decipher what his little brother had in mind. But he knew one thing-whenever Jungkook spoke with conviction, he would make it happen.
After a moment, Jin said thoughtfully, "I'll talk to Mom when she's less busy. Lately, she's been swamped with Dad's office work. She spends almost all her time in the study."
"Hyung, maybe we should do something nice for Mom. Something to help her relax," Jungkook suggested, his face full of genuine concern. Jin looked into his younger brother's eyes, proud of how caring Jungkook had grown.
Turning off the TV, Jungkook thought for a moment and then lit up. "Hyung, I've got it! Mom always wanted to play the piano. She's even trained, you know? Dad says she's amazing. What if we gift her a piano so she can unwind whenever she wants?"
"Not a bad idea, Kookie! You're so thoughtful," Jin praised. "But a piano's expensive, even if we save our pocket money. I don't think we'd have enough."
