One thing Ash was sure of was the fact Mallie LOVES Mentos, so when she found out This or that Mentos existed she quickly got obsessed. She bought loads of them before they disappeared.
She also used it as a secret way to get to know Ash better and it surely worked.
One afternoon Mallie took a This or that Mentos and asked the question on it.
"hey bub, sunrise or sun set?"
Ash thought for a second, "i'll go sun set. And you?"
"sunset definitely, it's just so peaceful y'know" suddenly she got an idea, a good one for once.

"Mallie, bub where are we going?" Ash asked genuinely confused. The only thing Mallie did was to tell her to get ready. And she's been looking outside the whole day.
"come on bub" Mallie had taken her biking helmet and gloves.
After Ash got dressed they got the garage to get Mallies' Harley Davidson LiveWire aka her baby (she's been obsessed with it after watching Age Of Ultron)
Millie got on the front while Ash backpacked her. They quickly drove off, only Mallie knew the destination and Ash was just confused.
After a moment of driving, Mallie stopped and put her hand over her girlfriends' eyes and an arm around her waist to guide her. "bub can you please tell me what you're doing?"
"be patient" Mallie whispered in her ear as she guided her across the light grass. Mallie guided Ash to sit down, "three...two..one" she removed her hand showing Ash the golden hour in front of her.
She gasped, "Mallie..."
The blonde smiled, "I thought we could stay at home or watch the sunset and I settled on sunset" Mallie paused for a moment, "you're beautiful" she whispered to herself (a little too loud)
Ash turned to look at her, the light of the lowering sun hitting the brown of her eyes perfectly, "I love you"
"I love you too bub" Mallie wrapped her arm around the smaller girl and pulled her closer. Ash leaned into Mallies' chest, her eyes stuck on the sun that was now barely visible.
They sat on the grass in each other's arms while the stars rose behind them.
