damn what's his problem” hyungwon mumbled to himself stirring his coffee while occasionally glancing at inhyuk
inhyuk's intense glare at hyungwon stopped when his phone ringed.
“weird guy” hyungwon muttered while sipping his coffee.
rijeen looked over her shoulder to look at hyungwon and then she looked back at inhyuk. inhyuk's busy talking on the phone and she thought it's the right time to pay the bills.
she slowly got up from her seat and went towards the counter, hyungwon's eyes followed her and he also hurriedly went towards the counter
he stood there quietly behind rijeen, his body towering her.
she turned around and almost hit her head on his chest, he was standing too close to her
“oh—” she looked up seeing who it was. “ahh” hyungwon sighed looking down at her .
“we met again ahh i see” hyungwon said with a soft voice while smiling warmly at her. as if he didn't purposefully waiting for her to meet her.
“ahh..yeah wel met again” rijeen said, smiling at him awkwardly.
“did you already paid for the coffee?” he said “what a shame” he scratched the back of his neck
“noo it's fine” she waved her hands on air “don't feel sad about it” she assured him
“did you come here alone?” hyungwon asked the most obvious question
“shes not unfortunately” a man said from hyungwon's back, hyungwon turned around to see inhyuk looking at hyungwon with intensely and rijeen peeked out behind hyungwon to look at inhyuk
“ohh you're back?” rijeen asked slowly approaching inhyuk, hyungwon's eyes followed her
“do you know him?” inhyuk asked rijeen not moving his gaze from hyungwon
“we—” “yeah” hyungwon replied before rijeen “it's my first time seeing you, are you her friend?” hyungwon asked inhyuk taking a step forward to him
“its my first time seeing you too” inhyuk sarcastically laughed. “i'm her friend…who are you though?” inhyuk asked hyungwon
rijeen can't understand why's the air between these two is suddenly so intense
“inhyuk he's someone i met before” she laughed awkwardly looking back and forth between hyungwon and inhyuk “if you're done can we go now?” she asked holding onto inhyuk's arms
hyungwon's eyes rested on inhyuk's arms where rijeen was holding him
inhyuk followed his eyes and put his own hands over rijeen's “yup let's go” he said and looked at hyungwon with a smirk in his face
rijeen looked at hyungwon once again before leaving the cafe with inhyuk
hyungwon just stood there watching the two of them leaving the cafe together. nothing's bothering him as much as inhyuk's presence with rijeen did.

“get the plates…the ones we got from bangkok last year” rijeen's mom said from the living room
“mom…i don't know what we got last year” rijeen replied from the kitchen
“how you don't kn—” her mom stopped mid sentence realising that rijeen indeed doesn't know rather she doesn't remember what happened last year
that girl literally forgot her own name and everyone has to make her believe that her name is rijeen
her mom went towards the kitchen and stood there silently
“i'm sorry i shouldn't have said that” her mom looked at her apologetically
“noo it's fine it's not like you did it intentionally” rijeen walked over to her mom
her mom started sobbing while looking at her daughter
“noo why are you crying?” she wiped her mom's tears “it's fine i'm fine now don't worry” rijeen assured her mom
“still…” she sobbed “you didn't deserved to go through that…it hurts” her mom said
she just kept on rubbing her mom's back and trying to calm her down while the door bell dinged
“probably your dad” her mom sniffles and wiped her tears “go check it out” she said and rijeen nodded
she approached the front door to get greeted by inhyuk
“good afternoon” inhyuk bowed with a huge grin on his face
“wow you're so early” rijeen replied holding onto the door knob “we're still not done with everything” she tilted her head
“i know” inhyuk nodded “and that's why i'm here to help” he proudly said “now can i go inside?” he asked rijeen
“sure..” rijeen stepped aside to let him in and then closed the door behind him
“is it dad?” her mom called out from the kitchen
“noo aunty it's me” inhyuk replied “ohh inhyuk?” her mom said and slowly walked out of the kitchen
“ahh good to see you inhyuk” her mom replied to him with a warm and welcoming smile “have a sit” she said to him
“its okayy” he replied “i heard that you guys are still not done with things should i help?” inhyuk offered
“noo you're out guest you shouldn't be doing this” her mom smiled at him
“ahh it's fine I'd love to help you know” inhyuk replied. “i have time that's why I came early here” he said smiling from ear to ear
“let me get some water for you” rijeen's mom said with a big smile on her face
inhyuk looked at rijeen and rijeen was already looking at him. “why do you look so sad that i'm here early?” inhyuk asked rijeen
“i'm not sad” rijeen replied while taking a sit on the sofa “i thought you're a busy professional psychiatrist” she looked at him “how you're making time…i'm wondering it” she tilted her head
