The pack cookout

I sat there waiting for Luke to get home, form the meeting, he said it was almost over and that was an hour ago. The front door opened and he walked in sighing while picking me up and siting me on his lap. "What's wrong baby?" I asked worriedly "nothing princess it's just pack business. I raise my eyebrow "I am the Luna Luke I am suppose to work by your side an now get left out on pack things"I look him strait in the eyes "I'm sorry baby but."He started but I cut him off "but you aren't going to, well I'm going."I get up off his lap and slide my flip flops on "where do you think your going?"he growls out protectively "I'm going to a place. Amanda!" I yell and she comes running down stairs my parents behind her "what's wrong?"she asked panicked "nothin I just wanted to see if you would like to come with me" she gives me a questioning look "ya let me go tell mason"she ran up the stairs, my parents watching me and Luke. He tried to touch me but I slapped his hand away, I heard footsteps and Amanda was ready to go. We get in my mustang and drove off to the pack house to spend time with the moms and kids and everyone else. When we got there there where kids running everywhere. One ran ini me but accident "s-sorry luna" he bows his head "it's o and call me halle" he smiled and ran back to everyone else. Amanda walked in beside me as we walk strait to the kitchen I hadn't told Luke about the pack cookout the girls and I planed. They look up and smile at me, I smile back as they now and get back to cooking. I give Amanda a look and she stays away from the food making me laugh with her as we walked to the back where the pool was with the net set up. I lifted my bathing suit cover off and slipped into the water "who wants to play volleyball?!" I yell out and was greeted with me's. "ok come on pick a team" I got Amanda, Holly (Tristan's mate) , Tristan (a jock at school but very sweet) and Trevor (another jock that's nice). The other team got I made a double check for sure Luke I don't know how he knew about the meeting but he was here and not happy I had the two jocks on my team but any-who Luke, John, Amy, Vera, and Travis (Trevor's twin brother). We start playing the game and I was into it until the ball hit me in the face and Travis was the one who did it "game on" I say to him as he winks at me. I jump up and hit I hard and fast but missed his head by and inch. We plaited until and little angel came up to me "um luna" "yes?" I say walking over to the edge of the pool as they keep on playing. "Can you come play with us?"she asked sweetly "of course" all the kids scream "yay!!!!" As I smile and laugh as I pull myself out of the water and over to my cloths and walking into the house to change in the bathroom when I got done I walked out and ran right into Luke's chest but ignore him as I pull on my tennis shoes "ill tell you later ok?" He sighs "our right I should be telling you pack things" I look up and him and smile softly "ok" then I kiss him on the cheek and walk outside to the kids. "She's going to e on my team" said a little girl with blonde almost white hair. "No our team" says a little hot with brown hair. "Hey how about we take turns?"I ask them all "start with our team" said the boy. An idea popped in my head "how about I bring alpha like over here?" They all scream there yeses and I walkover to him. "Hey can I ask a favor of you?"I ask sitting on his lap smiling with big puppy dog eyes "yes of course" hehe I have him wrapped around my fingers "will you come play soccer with the kids and me?" He looks t me with shock "please" I bat my eyelashes "fine" "yay!" I jump up and drag him over to the kids. They screamed there yays which got the mothers looking over her and smiling as they watch. "Ok ill be on your team" i point at the girl with blonde almost white hair "what's your name sweetheart?"I ask getting down to eye level "it's Linda"I smile at her "ok I'm going to be on Linda's team and alpha Luke's going to be on-" I pause an point at the boy that acts like the leader "Stephan"he says smiling widely. "Ok and Luke's going to be in Stephan's team" we start to play soccer and I run to get the ball and almost get it until Luke trips me and gets it. I glare at him and pull myself up running after him kicked the ball toward Linda as she catches it and gets us a goal "yay! Beat that" I stick my tongue out at Luke he smiles and I smile back turning as the ball gets kicked to me. I kick it to Sam who's a boy on my team and he makes another goal. "Alpha your going down" I tease I look around at the mothers watching, the guys playing football, and people in the pool. I get the ball before it could reach Luke but gets tackled to the ground "that's not how you play soccer and you know it" I say while getting up and gettin the ball from him he grabs my ankle making me slip but not fall and Stephan gets the ball and making a goal. I pull my ankle away from him and get in game mode. After the game our team won and yes I rubbed it in Luke's face haha. I walked over to the edge of the pool and down to Amanda "hey aman-" but I get cut off as I get pushed into the pool and scream in shock. I push myself up and see a smirking face if Luke "you will pay" I climb my way out of the pool squeezing the water out of my cloths then walking into the kitchen "where are the water guns?"I ask the moms counting mine "over there" I feel it up with water and go outside now everyone was curious as I walked over to him hiding the fun behind my back. I take him by surprise and pull the fun out soaking him as everyone laughed. When the food was done everyone ate then went home tired all the kids came up and hugged me while saying "thank you" "your welcome I can't wait until next time" they smile and leave with there parents. "Can we go home?" I ask Luke with sleepy eyes "yes princess" he picks me up and puts me in the car as Amanda and mason go tin the back I waved bye to my parents "bye love y'all" "love you guys!" When we got home everyone went strait to bed tire of the fun day we had. "I love you princess" "love you can you tell me now?" "Can we wait until in the morning so we can sleep?" "Ya sure love you night" we kiss goodnight and fall fast asleep in each others arms.
