Before you begin reading this chapter, I want to take a moment to address something important.

We are all aware of the current state of our nation. It is both heartbreaking and infuriating to see our brave soldiers and innocent civilians being martyred at the hands of terrorists. These acts of violence are nothing short of cowardly, and the pain they cause to our country is immeasurable.

While we, as citizens, may feel powerless in the face of such aggression, we can and must stand united in unwavering support of our Armed Forces - the Army, Air Force, and Navy - who risk their lives every day to protect our motherland. We are forever indebted to them.

We can do nothing but be the kind of Indian worth fighting for. Patriotism isn't just about waving flags - it's about being strong, informed, and united.

War is never the first answer. But the eradication of terrorism is non-negotiable. They started this. We will finish it. They need to face the consequences.

To those living near border areas - please stay safe, stay indoors, and strictly follow all safety procedures. I pray for every citizen every soldiers before going to sleep.

Jai Hind.
Jai Bharat.

"What is wrong with you? Why did you talk to Papa like that and brought me here?" I questioned Purab bhaiya the minute we stepped inside the drawing room.

"I did what I think is best for you, so do not ask these questions to me repeatedly! That house is not safe for you" He stated calmly, so calmly that any person could get chills down their spine but not me, it only increased my irritation which I was already having.

"Safety? Why would I need safety and from whom?" I countered back.

"Oh, did you just forget about the incident where some crazy fucker threw rock at your window with some threat?" His jaw clenched as he remembered about that incident.

"What are you not telling me?" I asked the question I had in mind since the window incident. I know he is hiding something and is not telling me.

He turned away and took a deep breath before releasing it "I don't know what to tell you because there are so many things I haven't told you and I can't even tell you"

"Why c-can't you tell me?" I couldn't help but feel hurt by the fact that my brother is hiding so many things from me which are related to me.

"Because I myself don't know what is the truth and what is not! Not until I-" he stopped closing his eyes before saying "I don't want you to get hurt again, you're my little sister-the only person who matters to me, I couldn't protect you back then but I will this time! And you do not need to marry that Malhotra guy just because father wants you to get married"

"But you're the one who's hurting me, bhai by hiding things which I deserve to know! And yes I'll get married to Aarav, we are already engaged so stop trying to make it difficult for me!" Why does he not understand? While trying to save me, he is hurting me!
