Nien and Kotone's relationship first started when Nien began flirting with Kotone when she first joined. At first Kotone would ignore it, or give her the side eye since whenever Nien would flirt it would be on camera. Kotone herself wasn't the type to do fan service nor was she into it, she would only participate in it at certain times.

Nien on the other hand loved fan service, she had fun doing it especially with Xinyu. She knew the fans went crazy over it so she gave them what they wanted at certain times but never did too much since they were idols and idols had to have a certain image.

Nien's relationship with Kotone had always been a chemistry full of colors-vibrant, playful, and sometimes confusing. When Kotone first joined the group, she had quickly become one of the quieter members but TripleS being chaotic, Kotone was also chaotic at times. She was a talented rapper, capturing the audience's hearts with her skillful lyrics and straightforward personality. Nien, on the other hand, was the bubbly jester of their crew, thriving on the energy from her viewers and enjoying the playful banter of the members.

It was during one particular live when Nien decided she'd take it upon herself to break Kotone out of her shell. With a wink and a mischievous grin, Nien launched into her classic flirty charm, tossing out compliments that echoed through their chat: " This is my husband everyone, isn't she handsome?"

Kotone glanced sideways at her with a bemused expression, her focus faltering for just a moment. This was not the first time Nien had tried to flirt, but it was the first time it felt almost personal. She brushed it off with a slight roll of her eyes and returned to her game, knowing that Nien's antics were part of her allure.

As weeks went by, Nien continued her playful pursuit, punctuating their streams with little comments designed to catch Kotone off guard. "Who knew being a rapper could be so cute?" she teased during one stream. "I wonder if you have a fan club... because I'd definitely subscribe!"

Kotone, eternally composed and with a dry sense of humor, mastered the art of the side-eye. While she appreciated Nien's lively spirit, she also held firm to her belief that fan service wasn't her game. Each flirtation was met with a brief, sardonic smirk before she refocused on talking to the fans, managing to keep her emotions shielded behind a wall of professionalism.

The dynamics truly shifted one afternoon during a signal film. Kotone, while being her genuine self, shared personal stories that tugged at the heartstrings. Nien, feeling adventurous and emboldened by the supportive atmosphere, leaned closer to Kotone and whispered, loud enough for the microphone to catch, "You know, you should really let me take you out someday. I promise I'm a lot of fun."

This time, Kotone's reaction was different. Surprised, she turned her head to Nien, measuring the sincerity in her eyes. For a fleeting moment, she saw the woman who effortlessly brought laughter to their community and filled the room with warmth. "You're impossible" Kotone finally replied, the corners of her mouth twitching into a reluctant smile, she hinted to the camera man to turn off the camera real quick. Kotone turned her head towards Nien again "Nien you know I'm not really... that kind of person, id like it if you stopped flirting."

"Im sorry I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable" Nien said in a low tone, putting her head down. Kotone looked at the girl who looked upset which made her feel bad. She patted Niens head and gave her a smile.

"It's okay Nien just tone it down a bit okay? It's not that I hate you flirting with me its just not what im into" She said to Nien, reassuring her.

Nien lifted her head and gave Kotone a slight smile and nodded her head. After they began filming for the new signal again the atmosphere shifted but not in a bad way. Nien stopped flirting so much and Kotone honestly she felt a little weird since she was used to Nien's flirting. Maybe she didnt want her to stop? she thought questioning herself.

Kotone didn't know about her own feelings at this time and didn't really wanna explore it but deep down she knew she had a thing for Nien but she was a tsundere type so she never showed it. She wasn't the type to show her feelings to openly either so whenever someone would flirt she was just laugh and move on to the next conversation.

After they got done filming the two of them went back to the haus. The car ride back was a little quiet but it was comfortable enough for the both of them. When they got back to the dorms Nien asked Kotone if she wanted to come over and hangout with the other girls, Kotone said yes of course, she loved her members.

The two of them entered the Dorm and greeted the other girls with a smile and a hello, Seoyeon walked out of her room and saw the two of them.

"Oh hey Tone!" Seoyeon called out, her hair a bit messy from laying in bed, soon after Yooyeon walked out right behind her.

"Hey Seoyeon! you too Yooyeon" Kotone replied, Seoyeon turned around and saw Yooyeon standing awkwardly behind her, giving her the biggest stare down ever. Yooyeon's eyes widened, a bit scared so she hurried to the living room and sat next to Soomin.

Nien grabbed Kotone and sat down next to Soomin and Yooyeon, for the rest of the night they watched movies, joked around, and threw a few flirts here and there but nobody noticed of course.
