Yooyeon stirred awake a little after Seoyeon had left, stretching her limbs and feeling the cool air against her bare skin. As she opened her eyes, she noticed the absence of her clothes and her heart raced. "What the...?" she muttered, glancing around the room in a panic.

Realization hit her like a tidal wave. Memories from the previous night came flooding back, a jumbled mess of emotions and sensations. She remembered the lingering touches and the whispers that had felt so good, and she suddenly felt exposed not just physically but emotionally.

"Seoyeon?" Yooyeon called out, hoping her friend was still nearby. Panic settled in when she received no answer. "Seoyeon!" she shouted louder now, feeling her embarrassment and anxiety sky rocket.

Slipping out of bed, Yooyeon wrapped her arms around herself, feeling vulnerable. She navigated the room, her heart pounding as she tried to find any sign of Seoyeon. She felt as if maybe they both just got caught in the moment, It didn't matter right? She felt as if they had gotten swept up in the moment, but a small part inside her felt a thrill of happiness, hoping they could return to their previous relationship.

She put on a sweater and shorts, no underwear since she was planning on showering after checking if Seoyeon was still at her dorm. As she opened the door and stepped into the hallway. She wrapped her arms around herself, half for warmth and half for comfort as she made her way to the living room. Thoughts tumbled through her mind. What now?

She made her way back to her room, Hurt on how Seoyeon could just leave her alone in bed, but she pushed those thoughts aside for now. With a sigh, she grabbed her towel and headed to the bathroom to take a shower, after remembering she had practice this morning.

Before getting into the shower she looked at herself in the mirror, she stared at herself for a bit as the memories of last night played into her head. Just then her phone buzzed, jolting her from her thoughts. She picked it up and saw a message from Seoyeon:

"I'm so sorry for leaving so suddenly. I just needed to clear my head. Can we talk later?"

Yooyeon felt a mix of relief and confusion wash over her. Seoyeon was okay. But the way she had left still made her heart feel heavy,

She texted back quickly: "Yeah, we need to talk. I'm a little freaked out."

After sending the message, Yooyeon took a deep breath, trying to process her feelings. The exhilaration mixed with uncertainty was making her head spin. How could something that felt so amazing also feel so terrifying?

She turned her phone off and entered the shower, The sound of water splashing against the tiles filled the small space as she turned it on. After she finished her shower and stepped out, wrapping herself in her towel. She took a moment to breathe and center herself, she caught her reflection in the mirror. Water droplets trailed down her face as she wiped the fog away. She looked determined, ready to face whatever came next, whether it was practice or a very needed conversation with Seoyeon later.

She checked the time on her phone and realized she was gonna be late. She quickly ran to her room and changed into a white cropped tank top and Sweatpants, she tied her hair into a ponytail and mentally prepared herself for the long day she felt was coming.

Once she was dressed she glanced at the clock on her desk and realized if she doesn't hurry she really is gonna be late, and she's usually always on time. With a final check of her appearance, Yooyeon grabbed her water bottle, a quick snack from the kitchen, and headed out the door.

--

Seoyeon sat on the edge of the practice room, her legs stretched out before her as she leaned forward, trying to shake off the heavy feeling from the night before. The warmth of the sunlight streamed through the large windows lighting up the room, making her feel a little more grounded, but her mind was still swirling with thoughts of Yooyeon. She had needed some time alone feeling guilty of what she did , and now that she was here, she was feeling both relieved and anxious.
