Other members in the group began to notice the growing distance between Seoyeon and Yooyeon, a subtle yet obvious shift in the air that lingered around them. They spun through rehearsals and performances, but it seemed that every shared glance between the two was clouded with an underlying tension. Their once effortless chemistry had given way to an awkward silence that resonated like a heavy weight, casting a shadow over the bond they had all built together.
Sohyun being a very observant person, was the first to speak up during one of their short practice sessions. She casually leaned over to Xinyu and whispered, "Have you noticed how quiet Seoyeon gets when Yooyeon comes around? Her and Yooyeon don't seem to connect like they used to." Xinyu nodded in agreement, her brow furrowing with concern as she scanned the room, witnessing Seoyeon's forced laughs and Yooyeon's distant demeanor.
"Yeah, I thought it was just a phase," Xinyu admitted, biting her lip. "But it feels like something more serious now. We need to keep an eye on them."

As rehearsals continued on, the other members exchanged worried glances but felt powerless to intervene. They were caught in a complicated web of loyalty and friendship, unsure how to approach the delicate matter without making things worse. Another evening, while they were all gathered for a group dinner at the gingerbread haus, the atmosphere felt very awkward.
Seoyeon sat at one end of the table, fiddling with her food to avoid the girl across from her, while Yooyeon picked at her plate, distracted and seemingly lost in thought at the other end of the table.
"How's the new song coming along?" Kotone asked with earnest curiosity, aiming to break the tension. The room fell silent, and the awkwardness hung in the air like a thick fog. Seoyeon looked up, forcing a smile but Yooyeon didn't respond, focused instead on her phone.
"Uh, we're getting there," Seoyeon finally said hesitantly, her voice lacking its usual enthusiasm. "It's a work in progress."
"Work in progress," Nien replied with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood. "More like a work in silence, right?" Her joke fell flat. The laughter she hoped to spark didn't work out, and the group shared a collective sigh of concern.
Days turned into weeks, and the divide between Seoyeon and Yooyeon only appeared to widen. They were never seen together even during group events, their interactions limited to what was strictly necessary during performances and promotional activities. The absence of their previously shared laughter alarmed the members, who increasingly felt the need to intervene.
Xinyu, unable to contain her concern any longer, proposed a plan during one late night discussion with the others. "We should try to get them to open up. Maybe a group outing? Something fun that could help them reconnect?"
"Like a trip to the amusement park?" Soomin suggested, her eyes lighting up. "Everyone loves amusement parks!" she said smiling.
"Or a movie night!" Kotone chimed in. "We could even have them pick the films to watch something nostalgic that reminds them of the good times..or a scary movie"
"Im in!" Nien replied witth a mischievous grin on her face while raising one hand in the air
everyone turned their heads toward the both of them, a mixture of surprise and disbelief etched on their faces.
"What?" nien groaned, rolling her eyes in exasperation.
"NO!" they all exclaimed in unison, laughter bubbling up despite the seriousness of the situation.
Kotone crossed her arms defiantly, a teasing smile on her lips. "Okay, okay! we get it. No scary movies. But we really need something special to make them feel comfortable again."
