Before, I was a puzzle
So broken, so alone.
Shattered into a million pieces
With no place to call home.
Never did I think anyone
Would be able to change my life.
Until I finally let you in,
And you made everything feel right.
Before I even knew,
You pulled me out of my comfort zone
You gave me courage to find the place
That I left unknown.
I always looked for a reason to live
Now you're my proof.
You made me see that happiness isn't a lie.
You helped me see the truth.
It was a long shot, but somewhere
Down inside I knew it was worth a try
So I jumped, fell; and on my way down,
I was hoping to fly.
I'm glad I took a chance because I flew.
You swept me right off my feet.
You gave me reason to see life I never
Thought it was possible to believe.
Now that you're here,
My puzzle is complete
Because all along you turned out
To be the final piece.
