Every time I look at you,
You get to me so easily;
And when you walk away,
You take another piece of me.
I know after all I've said it makes things harder,
But I'm not gonna live in regret
Because one day you'll feel the same way.
You're just not ready to right yet.
Everyone tells me to move on, but how I feel
Is something they'll never understand
That you're the last thing I need
To make my life feel complete again.
Their words may hurt,
Yet they will never stop me.
So I've decided to ignore them
And keep on going.
After I sat here,
And thought it all through,
No matter what anyone says,
I'm not giving up on you.
Because for all the days of my life,
Until I lay down to rest,
I'll be fighting for you
Till I take my last breath.
