Sophie POV
As we walked I tried to asked Starla about the flames telepathically . She kept saying that she'll show me in person . We stopped at an old room it was so dark I couldn't see anything until Alfire lighted the room with the torch of northern lights captured in flames . As the last torch was lighted the room was an old courtroom covered in thorns and roses .
" The court of thorns and roses . Now abandoned by the Black Swan . Back in the day this very court room was used for trials , " Starla told us.
" What trials ? " Keefe asked .
" Lots of trials . Trials of loyalty . Trials questioning our enemies . Many trials were held here. Nobody dares to come here only we do now , " Starla answered.
" Where do trials get held now ? " Biana asked.
"Things have changed Biana . We have evolved to have more telepaths and empaths , " Starla explained .
" Interesting but what about the northern lights captured in flames ? " Keefe asked .
" I would teach you how to do it but I'm afraid we're out of northern lights , " Alfire replied a black cuff around his left wrist began to buzz ," This means I'm being summoned I have to go now , see you soon enough".
We watch as Alfire left the court .
" We have to leave soon but before we go I must warn you . Trust no one . With an exception of Mr Forkle , Alfire , Lyro and maybe myself , " Starla warned .
Maybe myself ? Is she hinting that she is going to betray us ?
" What do you mean ? " Dex asked.
" Maybe we should trust you but we should totally trust Mr Forkle , Lyro and Alfire , what game are you playing Starla ? " I confronted her .
" Let me explain this once and only once . Mr Forkle created you Project Moonlark , he will tell you what you need to know . Lyro and Alfire are loyal to Mr Forkle meaning they are loyal to you . And me I am loyal to whom ever is close to me . We have only just meet that is clear enough . We must leave now , " she stated .
I opened my mouth to speak but everything went black .
