"Not until we reach the clinic, I won't." I kept on carrying the girl until eventually, we reached the clinic. I put her down carefully on the bed as her knee started to bleed even more, the nurse came rushing to both of us.

"Darling, what happened? It's the first day of classes and we already have an accident." She sat down on the edge of the bed, caressing the girl's leg. I rubbed the back of my neck, contemplating whether I should tell the nurse or let the girl speak.
"It- it was my fault, actually. I was rushing to find my classroom and... this girl came running and I didn't move out of the way." The nurse sighed and got up from the bed, "Darling, I'm going to need you to watch over her for me, okay? I'll have to get more band-aids. I'll be very quick." I nodded as she exited the room, leaving me and her alone together.

"I mean, it wasn't entirely your fault." I looked at the girl who was looking at her bleeding knee. "Okay maybe it was." I laughed a little, I could tell she was just trying to get me to not worry.

"It was both our fault." I insisted, while looking at her badly injured knee.

"I'm sorry."
"It's okay, it's just a stupid wound. I'll get better."
"Promise me."
"And who are you to say that to me?"
I realized I haven't fully introduced myself, "Oh, I'm Liam. And you are?"
"I'm Lincel. Nice to meet you, Liam." I smiled, this girl seemed sweet and I feel guilty for what happened to her just now. "Nice to meet you too, Lincel."
