Water Condoms (Chapter 11)

Mahogany p.o.v.

I was editing a Cash picture in my room when I hear my door open from behind. I look back and see nothing, but my door is open. I get up and walk to the door and close it. I turn around and out of sin air Lia appears and I scream.

Lia falls to the ground laughing her head off and I glare at her while holding my chest. My heart feels like it's beating 100 miles a second.

"Lia I told you not to turn invisible and scare me like that," I scream. She does it to me so many times. She should be more careful. I once released a death toxin into the air. Luckily nobody was around and it was really weak so it didn't spread far.

"I'm sorry I just couldn't resist," she says through giggles.

I sigh and start to laugh with her. She is my best friend after all. She is only person in the world that knows about my gift and I know hers. My power is basically about chemicals and toxins. Any chemical or anything like that won't affect me unless I want it to. So if you tried to drug me or poison me I basically don't get affected. I can also release chemicals to the people or to myself. So if my teacher is really mad at the class I can release a chemical through the air to activate her dopamine and make her really happy. I can also release adrenaline in my own body so things don't hurt as bad or I want to cheat in my P.E. fitness gram.

"So are you and Whitesides together or not right now," she asks. She says his last name because sometimes when we're broken up I get really mad or really sad if I hear his name.

I sigh and sit on my bed. She comes up joins me. "I don't know. He wants to get back together again, but I don't know. We always end up breaking up, because I know he's hiding something from me," I tells her.

"Well aren't you hiding something from him?" She is referring to my powers.

"Yes, but it's different. My secret could literately be life or death. If he were to tell people I could be taken by the government and experimented on," I tell her.

She sighs. "Maybe he has a secret like ours. Maybe it also is life and death. He could be scared to tell you too," she says.

"Do you think?"

"Yeah. How about you tell him your secret and see how he reacts?"

"I'm not sure, it's a really big secret."

"I'm sure he can keep it. How can he can trust you with his secret if you can't trust him with yours? Besides if he doesn't you can always use that knockout chemical you have and make him think it was a dream."

I nod my head. If he truly loves me he will accept me for me. Maybe he will even think that my powers are cool.

"Okay I will," I finally decide.

"Great. Now I need to tell you something that I learned," she says seriously.

"What is it," I ask.

She smiles and says, "Jolinsky is real," we both squeal at the news.

"How do you know?" They seemed really distant. How could they get together in one day?

"Well I saw Jack follow my brother and I was like what hell? So I turned invisible and followed them," she then continued and told me everything that happened. We completely fangirled and started our plan for the new club for the ship.

Cameron p.o.v.

Nash has been acting weird for the last 2 weeks. Like he's been acting more like a boyfriend than a friend which is weird. He keeps on kissing my cheek and he's been holding my hand more. Whenever somebody asks of we are boyfriends he doesn't deny it, but doesn't confirm it. He also smirks a lot more when he makes me blush.
