"I will punch her." Stormy promised as her and her sisters left the library after another failed attempt to find Ruby. "It's on my rights considering how many times she's done it to me."

"Give her a break, Stormy. She's stressed out." Darcy said, rolling her eyes.

"I thought I had calmed her down this morning." Icy sighed.

"At least this time she's not in the library. Or drowning in coffee." Stormy said, going down a stairway.

"I just wish she would tell us where she runs off to."

"We haven't checked my room yet." Darcy said with high hopes of finally finding their missing Fairy.

"I swear, I will actually punch her if she was in your room this whole time." Stormy grumbled as they approached the stone door to Darcy's bedroom.

They entered the room and, much to their relief, the finally found Ruby standing in front of Darcy's mirror, her stare fixated on herself. Stormy rolled up her sweater's sleeve and began walking towards the redhead with burning annoyance, but Icy grabbed her arm and stopped her in her tracks. She could tell that something wasn't right.

The Fairy hadn't acknowledged their entrance and her gaze hadn't left her own reflection. Her eyes were wide and almost terrified. She was pale and her hands were shaking slightly. She didn't seem to have been drinking more coffee, though. This was something else.

Darcy approached her slowly and when her figure was reflected in the mirror, Ruby finally responded to her presence and looked into her eyes through her reflection. A big smile stretched out in her lips and she turned around to face the Witch, cupping her face and kissing her passionately, as if she didn't look like she saw a ghost just a second before.

"Ruby, are you ok?" Icy asked, approaching the two. She eyed the redhead concerningly, but she just smiled at her brightly.

"Of course I am. Why shouldn't I be?" Ruby replied after pulling away from the kiss. She hugged the brunette and leaned her head in her chest making her smile as she stroke her hair.

But Icy, ever so insightful, noticed the slight cracking of her voice. It was barely perceptible, but it was there, trying to hide and go past them unnoticed. Her smile also gave away the lie. It was slightly lopsided and forced, barely reaching her glossy eyes.

"You sure?" The Ice Witch asked, sliding her hand underneath Ruby's shirt to softly run her fingers through her back. "You can tell us anything, you know that?"

"Hmm." Ruby hummed in delight and closed her eyes, enjoying the coldness of Icy's touch against her warm skin along with Darcy's gentle caresses in her hair. "I know that, but you have nothing to worry about. I'm fine."

"Then why did you disappear? Again." Stormy grumbled, looking away from the three of them and biting the inside of her cheek.

Ruby walked towards her and cupped her face planting a small kiss on her lips and another on the tip of her nose. She knew that Stormy sometimes felt left out because she wasn't as soft and gentle as them and she didn't want her to feel that way.

"I'm sorry, Bolt. I'll tell you next time." She whispered, looking at Stormy lovingly which made her blush and look away.

"Nice, you do that." The Witch mumbled shyly and Ruby smiled as she pulled her into a hug.

"Were you girls looking for me?" Ruby asked, looking behind her at the other two.

"Yeah, we came to tell you something." Darcy said, biting her lips hesitantly.

"Well, what is it?"

"Darkaar's Shadow Spy, Avalon's impersonator, has brought Bloom here." Icy finally said as neither of her sisters seemed willing to.
