Their destination had been a small shopping neighbourhood a few blocks away. It was a quaint place, not too busy despite its proximity to downtown.
All the guests were almost done with visiting places and enjoying them. Wedding day was nearing, so some wanted to explore the city more so they were travelling on their own enjoying. Some of them wanted to buy some souvineers, so they were off to the market.
The market was lively. Bustling with natives, tourists, and families fluttering from shop to shop and groups of friends chatting, laughing, and eating gelato.
Talking of gelato, Seungkwan sees it, Seungkwan wants it so everyone gets on the que in the gelato shop.
The afternoon was well spent shopping for souvineers and whatnot. Everyone later dispersed on their own places and shops, some looking for new food to try, some on their own shopping spree.
After the incident that took place in the afternoon, Cheol and Soonyoung seemed to have grown close to each other, or was it just Cheol? Jihoon wasn't sure.
Later, Jihoon and Jeonghan were left in each other's company when Cheol pulled Soonyoung talking about their bonding time and they were gone. Jihoon first thought it might be a bit awkward as he hadn't talked to Han outside of games and ceremony or without the company of Cheol, Soonyoung, or anyone. But, Jeonghan led most of the conversation as they walked past what seemed to be a million fashion outlets and restaurants with brightly colored signs and Jihoon had to admit, he was actually enjoying the time more than he thought he would.
"Ohhh, this looks so good. Let's go in and try something." He pulled Jihoon with him. They tried some matching clothes, even some bizzare outfits. "Hanie. I think I should try some shoes instead." Han nodded his head in understanding.
" Yeah, after this incident in the afternoon."
~This afternoon~
When Jihoon were resting after lunch near the pool area, Seungkwan were betting in Seungcheol on something random, which took a chaotic turn when they started trying to push each other into the pool.
Seungkwan was trying to run away and hid behind Jihoon when Seungcheol pushed them both. Their reflexes farailing, Seungkwan and Jihoon both were dunked into the pool. Kwan was kinda expecting it, but Jihoon was not ready.
Shoes were floating on the water. Seungkwan took one of them and threw it at Cheol, who caught it. The chaos was just getting started. They don't know how and what happened in a matter of minutes.
There was a series of yelling, splashing of water, and then, at the end, sound of laughter.
Jeonghan was now present in the crime scene, angry at Seungcheol and Kwan and feeling bad for Jihoon.
Jihoon was out of the pool, his hand stretched like he was trying to stop something that had already happened, and Seungkwan and Cheol both were in the pool.
They had both stopped laughing, and both of them had different piece of shoe in their hand. A glare from Jeonghan, and both of them shut up. On the whole course of splashing water and snatching shoe, Jihoon's shoe was left destroyed by two immature Seungs.
Jeonghan scolded both of them. Seungcheol and Seungkwan both apologised to Jihoon for pulling him on their mess and, well, demolishing his shoes.
Jihoon might have smiled and nodded in front of them saying 'it's okay, don't worry,' but inside, he was panicking a little.
It was a week of wedding so he didn't pack more than 3 shoes, 1 slippers, 1 workout shoes for travel and one for the wedding and parties. His party shoes were gone for the dry clean for the wedding, and he lost his slippers in Amalfi . Now, his one and only good pair was torn to shreds.
