______"This place is fancier than usual," Dokeyom said to Shua as they sat at the table. Dk shifted uncomfortably as the waiter left.
"I don't like places like this," he complained. "They're too...stiff. Confined in limited menus. Too sophisticated for me."
"Am I too sophisticated for you too?" Shua asked, almost offended and bit sulky. His eyes widened a bit like a saucer.
"Yes." Shua's eye narrowed like some cartoon character until Kyeomi continued, "I do think you are way out of my league. That's why I try my best to keep you with me." Dk admitted with a grin.
"Where do you wanna go them? Let's go there then." Joshua suggested, and Dk's eyes sparkled with joy.
"Let's go to the food market downtown. I want you to try little of everything." Dk and Shua walked out of the cafe hand in hand.
"What do you wanna try? Sweet, sour, salty, or savoury?" Dk asked excitedly.
" I don't like sweet that much other than that. I'm okay with everything."
"Anything for my little ray of sunshine."
Joshua blushed a bit because of that. He never got used to those things like them holding hands, stealing glances, or using nicknames. He maybe never wanted to.
A few minutes walk, and they start to smell something delicious coming from the market.
There was a lot to try, like pizza (which was Dk's favourite).
They also went to the nearby shop to try focaccia panini and whatnot, both of them feeding each other.
While strolling along the way, they found a vintage photo booth so, they decided to take some photo for memories.
"1 2 3, saluté." Dk was making funny faces and doing weird poses, and Shua stood there looking at him smiling.
A few months ago, if someone had told old Shua, he'd be going on rendezvous with Dk among all people. He would have been as much stunned as anyone else.
Their first impression wasn't the best one for them. Sometimes overly friendly, Kyeomi wasn't well received by elegant and sophisticated Shua at first. He thought he was "too loud and embaressing to be around" and now slowly, Kyeomi like a wild ivy, have grow on him.
That elegant Shua was now beside the loud silly Kyeomi making silly weird faces clicking photos with him.
He liked what they had and they weren't naming their relationship. It was kindof a hush hush thing, unofficial until they were sure.
They did the drunk salute with their hands raise up for the toast then, some more weird and funny poses.
"You are not in the frame. Come near." Kyeomi pulled Shua to sit beside him, but he might have underestimated the power of his pull as Shua landed straight on Kyeomi's lap. He was immediately nervous and red in the face.
"Kiss or regular?" Shua asked teasing already red Kyeomi, rendering him speechless. Puzzled, Kyeomi finally was able to answer.
"Regular." Shua might not admit, but he felt and inturn sounded somewhat disappointed. Maybe he wanted Dk to chose the other option.
"Okay then." He smiled and sat into position and wrapped his arm around Dk, smiling towards the camera.
A countdown started and snapped the photo of them.
