At first, the transformation was almost subtle-a faint warmth spreading through me, a heaviness that I thought might just be nerves. But hour by hour, it escalated. The warmth turned into a fever, then into a searing heat that made my skin feel like it was stretched too tight, my muscles twisting over my bones. Every nerve felt alive with pain, like something was clawing its way out from inside me. I tried to hold onto myself, but my thoughts became scattered, disjointed, slipping away like sand through my fingers.

The hunger started then-a deep, gnawing need that made my teeth ache as they sharpened, piercing through my gums. Soon, I couldn't think past it. The pain was relentless, my body changing in ways I couldn't control. My skin cracked open, raw and exposed, my hands twitching, my bones groaning under the strain. Bit by bit, memories of who I was faded, until all that was left was this primal emptiness, a hunger so deep it drowned everything else.

By the end, I couldn't remember my name or who I used to be. The pain was gone, replaced by a chilling instinct, a thirst that couldn't be satisfied. I was no longer myself-just a creature driven forward by the unending, insatiable hunger.
