ATLA X MALE FIREBENDER Y/N

The Northern Air Temple

Aang, Katara, and Sokka hear rumors about people who can "fly" in the Northern Air Temple, sparking Aang's curiosity because he believes only Airbenders have that ability. 


When they arrive, Aang is initially thrilled to see people gliding through the air. However, he soon realizes they're using mechanized gliders, not bending. Aang's joy fades a bit as he sees that the temple has been heavily modified by Earth Kingdom refugees who use it as their home

Aang : These are not real airbenders they don't have the spirit

Y/N : Well they seem to be refugees they must be using the temple as a safe place

.

.

A Young boy flies past the gang at a very high speed with excitement and passion

.

Kata : I don't know aang that guy seems pretty spirited 

Aang agrees and uses his glider to fly with the young boy and demonstrates his air bending 

.

Young boy : Wow you are a real air bender

Y/n : Not just an airbender he's the avatar

.

Teo : I can't believe it wow my name is Teo we all live here together my father runs things here

Toph : Yeah we can notice that much by the amount of machines around 

Teo's father, known only as "the Mechanic," is an inventor who has transformed parts of the temple to suit the needs of his people. Aang feels conflicted seeing his culture's sacred spaces changed, but he starts to understand why they did it.

Aang : This isn't right this is the culture of my people and its being completely changed and destroyed

.

Y/n : I understand how you may be feeling right now but these refugees have no place else to call home even if they aren't keeping good care of the temple's original state

.

Aang : I guess you're right

Teo : Hey Y/n you can being lightning right? you should meet my father sokka is also with him 

Y/n : Uh sure i guess bu-

.

Y/n goes to Teo's father where He is discussing plans with sokka meanwhile aang and his friends with Teo explore more of the temple, and eventually, they discover a hidden workshop full of machinery and weapons designed for the Fire Nation.

.

Aang : (angrily) What Is this? Your Father is making weapons for the fire nation?

.

When Teo's father the mechanic arrives on the scene he explains that the Fire Nation forced him into this arrangement; he had to supply them with inventions in exchange for safety for his people.

.

Y/n : Yeah sure you are trying to protect your people but what about the other colonies that the fire nation is probably taking over using your technology countless others are being put in the way of harm because of your actions *grabs the mechanic's collar*

.

Katara and Toph : we agree you can't keep this little deal up 

Aang : Next time they come for weapons tell them the deal's off or i will do it myself.

.

After a run in with the fire nation and Aang cancelling the deal between the fire nation and the mechanic. tensions rise, as later a Fire Nation force arrives at the temple, led by a Fire Nation commander demanding new weapons.

.

Aang : Guys we control the air we can take them Y/N , Katara and toph you guys take care any soldier or tank that is left after our attack we have to hold them off until sokka arrives with the mechanic.

.

The refugees use their technology and aang his airbending to drop weapons at the Fire nation force and aang knocks them back by making an avalanche fall on them.

.

Y/N : *Uses his fire bending to divert the attacks from the tanks back at them*

Katara : *Uses her water bending to freeze the tanks and toph finishes the job by her earth bending*

.

Y/N : *Lightning bends and shoots a lightning bolt at the rest of the fire nation soldiers who were on foot*

Aang : Good work Y/n you knocked all of them back real good sokka's here now with the mechanic lets see what they do.

.

Y/N : Took you guys long enough.

.

In an epic finale, the Mechanic and Sokka activate a gas-filled pipeline system that triggers an explosion extremely massive , which drives the Fire Nation forces out of the temple.

Toph : Well that was fun wasn't it.

Katara : Fun? it was an all out attack

Y/n : Toph's got a point i did enjoy myself there

Aang : calm down guys all that matters is that the fire nation force was driven away and now the refugees and my culture is safe i am happy as long the temples can be a home to people in need.

.

Y/n : Man you get really philosophical for a 12 year old sometimes

.

Sokka : make that 112 year old Y/n and hey we won this battle because of me

.

.

.

The gaang except sokka : (Sarcastically) Yeahh suree we did.

with their home and Aang's heritage safe, Aang and the gang part ways with Teo and the Mechanic, who are now free from the Fire Nation's control.

Y/N : Well guys that was quite an eventful day wasn't it 

Sokka : Its normal when you travel with the avatar

Y/n : Yeah but its good we are very close to the northern water tribe finally. Now katara and aang can learn some real waterbending.

.

Aang and katara : Hey what do you mean real water bending?

.

Y/n : you know exactly what i mean 

Sokka : Man nothing's more fun then beating some fire benders in battle 

Y/n : ....

Sokka : Oh no i didn't mean you. you are fine

.

Y/n : Good but yeah i agree using some real bending was really fun 

And so they left, the spirit of the Northern Air Temple alive in the faces of those who chose to call it home, carrying a piece of the Air Nomad legacy with them into a new world.
