A few more days passed. Thirteen continued to avoid conversing with the rest of the crew when it wasn't necessary. She kept noticing that they would throw looks of pity her way, and it was irritating to say the least. She just kept reminding herself that this would be over soon, so she hoped anyway. At the very least, this part of the job may be fun.
Thirteen stood on the other side of the street from a rather inconspicuous building. It was marked as a mechanics shop, but at the back of the building, there was a door leading to a secret lower level; a level that served as the hub for the Bounty Hunters' Guild. Thirteen adjusted her wide brimmed hat to sit just a bit lower on her head. The hat combined with her dark clothing, a cloak over one shoulder, a bandana over her mouth and nose, a mean looking blaster on her leg, and a large staff slung over her back, she certainly looked the part of a ruffian.
The comlink clipped to the inside of her shirt collar crackled. "How are you feeling?" Leia's voice asked.
Thirteen shrugged to herself. She reached up to her collar to flick on her comm's microphone. "I'm about to walk into a den of the most dangerous individuals in the galaxy; about as good as I can feel."
"You'll do great. Just get in, find a target, get them out. We'll handle the rest."
"Copy that," said Thirteen reluctantly. She adjusted the staff on her back and headed around to the back of the shop. She approached a dark gray door and made sure the coast was clear before giving a series of knocks in a specific pattern provided by Chewbacca.
After a few seconds, the door opened and a gruff looking man eyed Thirteen. "What do you want?"
"Got a contract," Thirteen answered shortly.
The man narrowed his eyes. "Who for?"
She matched his attitude. "Whoever can give me the best price and the quickest results."
He grunted and stepped aside, allowing Thirteen to enter. She descended a dark staircase and went through another door. She stopped in the entryway to a much larger room– a lounge, it looked like. There was a bar on one end of the room with tables and chairs scattered around the remainder of it. Thirteen adjusted her hat and pulled her bandana down so that it hung around her neck and took a breath, inhaling the musty air. She scanned the room and its inhabitants. Around thirty people occupied the space, chatting amongst themselves in hushed voices. Thirteen began to weave her way around the room, looking for a good target. The bounty hunters were fairly easy to spot, as they weren't dressed in civilian clothes. For the plan to work, she needed to find a hunter who wore a full-coverage outfit in order to conceal Leia's identity best.
She approached the bar and took a seat at one of the stools at the end of it, flagging down the bartender. She ordered a drink and waited for it, eyeing the folks sitting nearby. There weren't many bounty hunters in full face masks, but there were at least a few. One of them was some alien species that Thirteen didn't recognize. It'd be a bit harder for Leia to pass as that species, but they could make it work. There was another hunter near the exit who was wearing a helmet made from the skull of some animal with serious looking antlers. Their armor was also decorated by or made with bone fragments which gave their gloves the appearance of having claws. They looked quite seasoned too; a good choice to keep in mind. Thirteen picked out a third option: a hunter wearing what looked to be old stormtrooper armor on their chest and arms. Their pants were made of a thick hide and their belt had the tails of animals hanging from it. Their upper face and eyes were covered by a half-mask, leaving only their mouth exposed. A bit of makeup to make her look scarred and Leia could make that work.
