It has been four days since Damian and Jasper came back from their mission. Four days of Damian training in the Temple, four days of him processing what happened to him in his fight against the Grimm, four days of him going into the infirmary and coming when checking on Jasper's progress and finally, four days since his fight against Silver and seeing Summer Rose.
Timeskip.
Jasper slowly begins to wake up and looks around his surroundings only for him to realize that he's back in the temple and in the infirmary. He sees Damian sitting beside him and resting on his chair, this causes Jasper to give a slight smirk and he says a few words.
Jasper: On your left.
Damian slowly wakes up and the two of them smile at each other and talked about what happened.
Jasper: So you killed the Grimm and brought me back here on your own? Then check on my progress for the past four days and kept up with your training?
Damian: Yeah.
Jasper: I'm impressed. What about the Huntress and that boy? What happened to them?
Damian: They–
Damian thinks back to seeing Summer and Silver, which causes him to reflect on Silver's words and so he answers him carefully.
Damian: They got away.
Jasper: I see.
Damian could tell that Jasper was disappointed in his answer which caused him to wonder for a bit, but he wasn't going to let it get to him.
Damian: (gets up) Well, I better get going. It's probably best to let you rest for another day or two before you're able to go out in the field again.
Damian begins to walk away, but Jasper suddenly called out his name.
Jasper: Damian.
Damian turns around.
Damian: Yes Master.
Jasper: I believe it's time for you to take your final test.
Damian: You mean...
Jasper: Yes. It is time for you to begin your initiation.
Timeskip.
It was finally time for Damian to begin his initiation and become a true member of The Order.
Jasper: When you first came into this world and saw the ugliness of it, did you pity the people and their way of thinking?
Damian: The first day I lived in the orphanage, I saw what looked to be happiness for some, but understood that others were treated poorly and brought back into the orphanage not because they were damaged goods, but because some of the families saw some of them as pawns, tools for a bigger game and used only when they see fit. So yes, I did pity some of them. Even from such a great distance I am able to listen to the world and hear things, feel the things that criminals have done to so many people.
Jasper: You have seen only a glimpse of the ugliness of how the world is and since you came to this place... you've shown once again just how strong you really are... to understand the minds of those who do wrong, criminals of any sort... and conquer your own fears. But a criminal is not complicated. And what you really fear is inside yourself. You fear your own power. You fear your anger... the drive to do great or terrible things. Now you must journey inwards my pupil.
Jasper hands him a chalice that is filled with an unusual liquid and Damian takes it.
Jasper: Be warned my student, for once you go inside your mind, you'll be fighting your toughest opponent.
