Rick thought about the situation their in and since Merle  doesn't have a weapon and there is more of them so he uncuff Merle despite T- dog protests to calm down but He did  searched Merle and threw his stuff to the side so he had nothing to be dangerous with. This pissed off Merle, who threw a fit at Rick. Not wanting to hear it, he walked away with Morales to talk to him.

Rick told him where he came from. After which, the two rejoined the others to figure out how to escape the store since the walkers were all over the front entrance. Jacqui, having knowledge of the sewer system, helped the group. There was a sewer in the basement that could lead them out, but they had to see if it was safe first. Not wanting to risk the group, Glenn suggested that only one or two people should go down, and of course, the group looked at Glenn. Knowing he was best at this stuff anyway, he was fine going down. He brought Morales with him to cover his back while Rick and the others watched the store's front entrance.

Downstairs at the front of the store, Andrea and Rick had a one-on-one chat about earlier.

Andrea: Sorry about the gun in your face.

Optional Dialogue 1 [Canon Dialogue] [Balanced Response]

[M] Rick: People do things when they're afraid.

Andrea: Not that it was entirely unjustified; you did get us into this mess.

[M] Rick: If I get us out, would that make up for it?

Andrea: No, but it's a good start.

--

Optional Dialogue 2 [Cool Response]

[M] Rick: I'm sorry for putting you all in danger.

Andrea: Yeah... I guess you did put us in danger, but I wasn't thinking rationally when I pointed that gun at you.

[M] Rick: You were justifiably angry. It happens. Anyway, I'll make up for it by getting us out of here.

Andrea: Thank you.

Optional Dialogue 3 [Fiery Response]

[M] Rick: If you shot that gun, you'd have more than a dead corpse to deal with.

Andrea: True... but you already brought the entire street to our front door anyway, so I doubt it'd make a difference.

[M] Rick: Merle didn't help things either.

Andrea: No... he didn't. Anyway, you start making up for everything by helping us get out of here.

[M] Rick: That's my intention.

After explaining to Andrea that she had the safety on and couldn't shoot him anyway, Rick helped her turn the safety off to help her in future scenarios.

Meanwhile, on the roof, T-Dog was left alone with Merle to watch over him and try to contact the camp on the CB radio. Merle didn't say anything not wanting to cause any problems for now T-Dog to help him, .

Downstairs again, Andrea wanted to pick something up in the store for her sister at the camp. She told Rick about her and didn't know if she should take something back for her that she had her eyes on. Rick helped her understand it was okay to loot the store since the old rules no longer apply to the world.
