"Hey, hyung..." Jungkook greeted as he stepped into the kitchen and spotting Jin right away

"Oh, hey! Good morning! Did you sleep well?" Jin replied with a warm smile as he prepared his morning coffee.

"Yeah!!" Jungkook responded, his lips curving slightly before his expression grew more thoughtful. "But... I didn’t even know when he left. He didn’t wake me up... Why?"

Jin shrugged casually, finishing his pour and setting the kettle aside. He grabbed another mug, filled it and slid it across the counter to Jungkook. "Probably because you went to bed late. There are no strict wake up times around here..so relax. You can sleep in if you want!!" he said, giving a reassuring smile and taking a slow sip from his cup.

Jungkook nodded, cradling the warm cup in his hands. "Does he always leave this early?" he asked , just to get an idea about what his future morning routines are going to look like

"Not really!! " Jin said, waving off the notion. "It depends on his work schedule...he wakes up at 5 everyday to workout though!!  " He gestured toward the back door. "Come on, let’s sit outside. It’s a nice morning." Jin led him out to the backyard, where a small coffee table waited amidst the fresh morning air and chirping birds. They settled into opposite chairs as the the early sun offered  them a gentle warmth against the chill of the morning.

"Today, I’m not sure why he left.." Jin continued, settling in comfortably. "But he did say he would be back soon and he’ll bring breakfast, so I didn’t cook anything. I did cut up some fruit though, if you are hungry." He pointed to a bowl he had brought outside, filled with a mix of fresh berries

Jungkook nodded appreciatively and picked up a big strawberry and bit into it thoughtfully.

"So.."  Jin said, leaning back and watching Jungkook closely. "How are you holding up? How’s your new husband treating you so far? I know it’s been only a few hours, but still... Has he been good to you?"

Jungkook hesitated for a moment, thinking back to the night before. The alpha had been nothing but  patient with him..He struggled to find any major complaints. "He, uh... said like four words to me!! So not sure how I am supposed to answer that question.." Jungkook muttered, half-joking.

Jin snorted into his coffee, clearly amused by the omega's bold response. "That sounds about right. He is a serious guy. Doesn’t talk much... very strict, stubborn as hell."he explained

"Great!!"  Jungkook said dryly, rolling his eyes with a sigh. "It’s like I married one of my brothers."he scoffed and took a sip of his coffee

Jin burst into laughter. He reached into the bowl and grabbed a blueberry and popped it into his mouth. "Trust me, you’ll get used to it... or he’ll warm up. One or the other!!" he said with a comforting smile, trying to lighten the mood.

Jungkook smiled at the beta softly,

"So...who usually cooks around here? Do you have a chef, or...?" Jungkook asked, shifting the topic.

"I do!!" " Jin replied "Your alpha can’t do much in the kitchen. Can’t cook, can’t drive...and he’s not big on having strangers in the house, so hiring help is out. I don’t mind, though..I enjoy cooking..so most of our meals are on me..Or, you know..there’s takeout..." He shrugged

"He can’t drive?" Jungkook repeated, his eyebrows shooting up in surprise.

Jin laughed, clearly expecting the reaction. "I knew that would catch your attention. Yeah, that’s why I end up chauffeuring him around sometimes. He also has a driver, of course!!"
