Vencie POV:
It was Sunday, and with not much work to do, Gaurav had already assigned all the guards their respective duties. After clearing all the tasks Agastya had given him, he made his way over to Ash's cabin.
"Hey, bhai, are you done with your work?" Gaurav asked, peeking in.
"Yeah, just a minute," Ash, the eldest, replied, finishing up his last report. Just then, Rithvik joined them. "I'm done. Shall we go?"
Ash stood up, stretching. "Yes, let's go."
All three headed over to the princess's palace. It had been two days since the sneak-out incident, and neither Amaira nor Viraj had spent any time with them since.
The princess had been busy with her online assignments, while Viraj was preoccupied with... well, You all know what he is looking for.
With college starting for the princess tomorrow, the three brothers had decided to take some time today to check in on her.
As they approached Amaira's chamber, they saw the head maid exiting, shaking her head with a tired sigh.
"Oh, Gaurav, Ashank, Rithvik! What brings you three here?"
"We came to check on the princess," Gaurav said with a smile. "Is she inside?"
The head maid sighed. "Oh, she's there. Go in and see for yourselves. I'm done dealing with these two anyways," she muttered, walking off.
Ashank glanced at his brothers with a raised brow. "What did they get into this time?"
Gaurav sighed and knocked, but when there was no response, he decided to let himself in, typing in the passcode.
The door swung open, and immediately, a pillow flew straight at Ashank's face.
"Ah!" Ashank groaned, feathers exploding around him. He looked around in shock.
The entire living room was a mess—pillows scattered, feathers covering every surface, and there in the middle of the chaos were Amaira and Viraj, clearly in the midst of a full-blown pillow war.
Amaira was clutching a pillow like a weapon, while Viraj had somehow managed to grab a small pillow, which he was holding defensively like a shield.
"I'm telling you, vixen, that vase was never here before today! Stop blaming me for breaking it!" Viraj snapped, glaring at her.
Amaira scoffed, hurling another pillow at him. "It was always there, vijulu, you just weren't paying attention as usual! You're as clueless as a—"
"Oh, I'm clueless?" Viraj interrupted, laughing sarcastically as he dodged the pillow.
"This is coming from the princess who didn't even know how to work her own coffee machine!"
Amaira's jaw dropped, and she clutched her chest dramatically. "Excuse me? At least I don't go around invading people's personal space, coconut head!"
"Oh please, vixen, as if you're any better! Who was it that couldn't even find her way out of the garden maze the other day we went out?"
Amaira's cheeks flushed. "You don't bring up the maze! It's confusing, okay? And I didn't see you offering to help me!"
"Because I was too busy watching you walk in circles like a lost puppy!" Viraj smirked, clearly enjoying her flustered expression.
Amaira threw her hands up in frustration, muttering, "You are impossible!"
The three brothers exchanged glances, fighting back laughter as they took in the scene.
Ashank sighed, rubbing his head. "They'll never change, will they?"
