Vencie POV:

"But vijulu I don't have anything to give you," she said hiding in his chest speaking so low.

Viraj chuckled. "You being with me is more than enough, my love."

Amaira looked at him and asked in a small voice, "Then can I have my last stars now?"

Viraj cooed, "Awwww, my baby wants stars?"

Amaira hummed, looking at Viraj with hopeful eyes, and for a second, Viraj saw a million stars reflecting in them, making her the brightest star in his life.

"If I give you the stars, what are you gonna wish for?" he asked.

Amaira shrugged. "I don't know, but I want that jar to be filled."

Viraj chuckled and took out the last two stars, placing them in her palm. "I planned on giving them soon, baby, but looking at you asking for them so cutely, I took my time."

She scoffed, snatching the stars and running away from him giggling.

Viraj just shook his head, watching Amaira run downstairs to her room.

Viraj leaned against the swing, watching her disappear down the stairs with a soft chuckle, his heart full.

Amaira was his brightest star, his entire galaxy, and no matter how many stars he gave her, she would always be the one shining the brightest in his life.

Amaira reached her room, her breath slightly uneven from running, but her excitement overshadowed everything else.

She carefully opened the glass jar sitting on her nightstand—the one filled with all the stars Viraj had given her over time.

Each little folded paper star carried a memory, a moment, a promise. She placed the last two stars inside, and for a second, she just stared at the now completely filled jar, her heart swelling with emotion.

Viraj entered her room silently, leaning against the doorframe with a smirk. "So, my little vixen, what do you want to wish for?"

Amaira turned around, hugging the jar to her chest, and smiled. "How many wishes can I get, Vijulu?"

Viraj laughed, walking toward her. "As many as your heart desires, baby. Even if it means making the impossible possible, even if it means burning this whole world down, even if it means offering you my very life—I will make every single wish of yours come true."

Amaira's breath hitched, and she immediately placed her finger on his lips. "Shh, Raj. Please don't say that. How will I live without you, hmm?"

Viraj smiled softly, cupping her cheek. "I'm never going to leave you, baby. Now come on, tell me your wish."

Amaira giggled. "I don't need to wish for anything, Raj," she whispered. "I already have everything I want."

Something in Viraj's chest clenched painfully, in the best way possible. This woman—his woman—had the power to bring him to his knees with just her words.

"My heart," he murmured into her hair. "You are everything I ever wished for too."

Amaira peeked his lips and smirked. "You gave me two wishes, so I'm going to keep them safe and use them when the time is right."

Viraj nodded, smiling. "As you wish, my highness."

They both hugged each other tightly, sighing in content, feeling the warmth of their love wrap around them like an unbreakable shield. In that moment, it felt like nothing could touch them, like they were in their own little world where only they existed.
