Chapter 13

"AAAAA" Blate shrieked for a moment after she awoke.
"Wha- what happen? Hoamm.." Star yawned, tried to figuring out what's happening.
"COCKROACHH.." Blate stood up all of sudden, stepped back from the original place she woke up.
"Really? You scared of this cockroach? This guy is more scared of your screaming." Star took the cockroach without any sign of disgust.
"See? He's not even doing anything to you." Star teased Blate while showing the cockroach on her hand, trying to get the cockroach closer to Blate.
"NO, GET AWAY FROM ME!!" Blate kept getting further from them.
But, the more she step away, the more excited Star of chasing her.

That argument caused Snow to woke up. She rubbed her eyes, trying to undertand what's happening in front of her.
"Um.. what's happening here?"
But, her low voice couldn't keep up with her friend's laugh and terrified shriek.
"Hey, why are you guys running?" Snow raised her voice, yet they still ignored her.
Snow was getting iritated by their behaviour. They've ruined her sleep, yet they didn't even apologize for it. They kept joking with each other instead. This made her felt angrier.

"QUIETT!!" Snow scolded them with a high voice.

Star and Blate stayed still for a moment, looking at her. They've realized what they've done.

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF GALATIA IS HAPPENING HERE?" Snow shouted at them.
Her shout filled with anger and annoyance.

"Star started it not me. She's scaring me with that cockroach." Blate pointed a finger at Star.
"Oh that such a disgraceful accusation. First of all, I did not do anything, Blate is just a scaredy cat." Star shook her head.
"Well.."
Before Blate argued with Star, Snow shouted again.
"YOU BOTH ARE SOO CHILDISH. I thought you both would know better than doing somethingg.. noisy like thiss.."

They didn't say a word anymore. Realizing what they've done. Like a mother scolding her children, Snow stood up, put her hands on her waist and lectured them.

This was the only time Star didn't talk back to someone who scolded her. She only look down as a sign of regret. Snow expressed her dissapointment in them. But, Snow's scold interupted by a sound of blast from distance. It's not to loud but very interesting to look at. The blast came from the north where Snow came from.

"Nononononononono.." Snow mumbling while saw the blast from the window.
Then, she left them in a hurry. Star looked at Blate in confusion, Blate shrugged her shoulder and signaling her to follow Snow.

But, it was too late. Snow had gone far with Blue. When they arrived at the bottom of the castle, a few minutes later Snow got back at them again.

"Where's the nearest place to get a boat?" Snow sounded very worried, also in a hurry.
"I don't.." Star replied, but Blate cut her in the middle of her saying.
"The dock, my guess is that we could rent a boat, IF we have some money."

"We must do something. My father.. I must go back to my place.." Snow muttered slowly.
"I understood, but right now we must find something to sell to rent the boat." Blate held Snow's hand.

Suddenly, Star took off by flying to other place without saying anything. Blate knew that Star must have something in her mind, so she pulled Snow's hand to follow Star. Noak had gone with Star.
"Knowing her, she must have a friend that could help us.." Blate spoke to Snow, while running.

Snow didn't utter a word, she was concerned about the people from her place. Especially, Tam Tam. Her father must be mad.

"Hey, whatever happens we will do anything to help you. Even if Star didn't want to help you, I will and I will forced her to help you. Is that blast came where you sailed from?" Blate reassured her.
Snow's worriness drawn clearly on her face, she turned her face to Blate's face.
"How do you know?" Snow asked.
"Star told me about the ship, the iced halved burn ship. And I figured it was yours." Blate smiled genuinely.
"Yes, the place was mine. It was my fault to begin with. I provoked my father's wrath for my own benefit." Snow showed some regret.

They stopped in front of Star's place.
"If your benefit was for good, then it wasn't your fault." Blate replied to Snow's last statement.
"Well, I just hope my friend's okay." Snow mumbled.
"STAR?" Blate shouted.

Somehow, the place was empty. It wasn't suppose to be empty, considering this was the only place for homeless people. The more they looked around, the more disturbed they were by looking on how the homeless people here living. They didn't have any toilet, so their feses were collected in one hole and the only cover was just a piece of long thin wood. The smell was foul. They closed their nose the deeper they went. Their place was also filled with many trash inside. They didn't understood about hygiene, some of them didn't even get a good education. An ironic sight. Behind this place was the school that Blate went in.

Snow was almost puked, when Blate found a way out from the other side. Apparently, they found themselves in more bigger problem. Pirates. Bad one. And the leader held Star tightly, with a glowing sword on his hand. His face was very angry, half of his face was burned.
He wanted to kill Star, but Star kept resisting.

"WAIT, Blate go away. Leave, they tried to f- rraahh" Star warned them, trying to freed her body.
Snow realized that they were the remaining pirates that she fought back on the ship. Seemed like they swam, perhaps one of them could sniffed Snow's power. They got all the homeless people in order to get their information about Snow's location. They didn't know anything, therefore without any hesitation, the leader ordered them to kill the people.
Star screamed on top of her lungs. She was mad. Tears streamed down her face. She tried to attack them back.
Snow ran towards them, trying to help Star.
"YOU!!" one of the pirate recognized Snow, tried to swing his sword, but she freezed him.
The leader was busy with Star. She kept avoiding all of his attack.
But, make one mistake led to death. When Snow almost reached the leader to help Star,

Star got stabbed in her stomach. She was getting surrounded by the others.

Blate saw that, she freezed, couldn't do anything, facing down looking at the yellow sand.

Snow attacked them with her powers.

Blate clenched her fists.
She felt something running inside her hand. Walked slowly into the middle of battlefield. People near the place were watching, some calling the police.

Then, BOOFF a dome appeared, a giant lilac dome. It made all of the enemies thrown away. Blate's scream was the only thing that Snow heard. The dome protected them. It filled a big amount of the beach. Without hesitation, Blate carried Star's body into the boat that was available. The dome followed them and their boat, still protecting them. Snow released a final blow of fireball thrown towards the pirates, so that they couldn't followed them. Snow tried to turned on the machine on the boat.

Blate still mourned on Star's unconcious body.

Luckily, the machine worked. They left the massacre scene. Snow still watching at the beach, the pirates were caught by the armies. She sat behind Blate. Blord and Noak followed them when they ran into the boat. Snow exhaled. She looked at Blate's face. The dome had dissapeared.

Star's mouth was filled with blood. Blate looked at her hand, and touched Star's wounded stomach.
