TPT : The unPlanned Tragedy

Chapter 14

"Stay close to mama, ok sweetheart?"
A desperate mother pulled her child's hand running, trying to leave their  home that has been bombarded by the traitor and their rebellious gang. Their village has been a wreck, people died everywhere, bomb and gunfire were released to the ground, houses were on fire, survivors were trying to escape the border. Sadly, the people from the other side of the border didn't allow them to get inside, as they have their own reasons.

"Mama, I'm scared." the girl whispered in fear behind her mother. 
They were surrounded by the rebellious gang. Luckily, the mother had her remaining energy to protect themselves. She released a big gust of wind to slow the enemies down, therefore they could reach the border before sun down.

"Come, climb this stairs."
"But.. I can't. What if there's something up there?"
The bombing and burning sound in the background was very eery. It really scared the child. The mother sighed and looked compasionately at her only child.
"Alright, I'll climb these stairs first. Follow me, ok?" the mother gave her another choice.
"Ok, mama." the girl agreed.
"Dad and your sister must be waiting for us on the other side." the mother gave her calming words.
"AKH.." the girl exclaimed in shock.
Someone's trying pulled her back. She fell.
"help.." the man that pulled her whispered in a slow and desperate voice.
"MAA.."
"Don't worry, honey. I'll never let you go."
It's no use, the man had a strong grip. If the mother kept insisted, the girl's hand could broke apart. The mother had an idea. She jumped off the ladder and landed on the man's shoulder. It made the man released his grip on the child's leg. The mother pulled out her knife and killed the man.
The girl cried, seeing an unforgettable sight. The mother rushed her to go upstairs.
Unfortunately, one of the person from rebellious gang pointed his sniper on the mother's head.
"Got you.." the man looked like he just got a jackpot.
"If I were you, I wouldn't do anything stupid. Come on, hop on." the man strecth out his hand.
The mother only looked onto the man's eyes with such intimidation.
"You have to catch me first to get her."

"Ha.. HAHAHA.. what are you going to do huh? Jump? With your child? Oh, look under your feet... My people were under this ladder. If you jumped down, you'll make this easier. Hahaha.." the man burst out of laugh.
The mother peeked downstairs. He was right. Their whole squad filled the alleyway. Ready to attack with their power and also their gunfire.
The mother ran out of any ideas. The sniper man was calling their boss.

"Mama, what are we going to do?" the child talked weakly to her mother.
The people that was on the roof took them by force. Of course, the mother put out a fight in order to protecting her child.
A few hours of fighting, the mother finally could be neutralized by them, the child cried out "mama".
However, in her remaining strength, the mother whispered to the girl, "They won't do anything to you, Snow. Do not be fret for I will always be with you."
"No, mama.."
The man hit them both with the back of his sniper.

"AH.." Snow woke up with a bunch of sweat on her dress.
She remembered that she was on a boat with Blate and dying Star. She watched Blate that kept her eyes on Star in case she opened her eyes.
"Blate.." Snow touched Blate's shoulder.
"Yeah?" Blate sounded limp.
"How is she?"
"Oh, she's fine. I think she's just tired. Her whole family's been slaughtered. Snow, tell me. Is it my fault?" Blate looked into Snow's eyes.
"I don't think.."
"If I've gotten that power sooner, I could save her." Blate kept continued on, wiped her tears off her face.

"Oh.. Blate.." Snow's calming her
"What happened back there wasn't your fault.. She would've been like this no matter if you had the power or not.. I'm sorry that you have gone through this."

"Ms. Bartle.. Star.. the principal.. I think everyone who gets close to me won't be as alive as they were. I think I was cursed." Blate's voice was shaken.
Snow on the other hand, understood her. She didn't know what to say anymore. She casted her eyes down.
"Your hand, you have power.." Snow suddenly mumbled.
"Huh?" Blate didn't concentrate on what she had just said.
"I mean.." Snow stood up "You made a huge dome to protect us back then. Additionally, you have that healing power to healed Star's wound."

"I think it was the highest achievement for healers to make a huge dome protection."
"... this was temporary.."

They said it almost simultaneously.

"How do you know?"
"I could feel it, I could only closed her wound, not healed her whole stomach."
"That's impossible.."
"Everything is FUCKING impossible, Snow!" Blate accidentally screamed at her.

Snow stepped back and sat down again. The water was suprisingly calm at this moment. Blate clenched her fists again. Star hadn't opened her eyes, but she's still breathing. Slowly.
"I..This whole thing felt so unreal. I just let someone died because of my fault. MY FAULT! Of leaving Ms. Bartle. Now, Star is dying because I was too late to realize my own talent."  Blate's voice filled with anger, regret, and dissapointment in herself. 
She bowed her body and cried in silent.

Snow understood her feelings, but somehow she only could think about Blate and Star's potential if they had good teacher to taught them. However, she didn't say any other word to Blate. She was in the grief state.
Blord awoke from its good sleep because of all the noises. Noak flew here and there in the air to checked if they went to the right direction.

huk.. uhukk..
Another cough from Star. Although, her eyes were kept close. Blate swiftly put her hand on Star's stomach and sat close to her, in case she woke up again. Blate looked at her with such pity.
"I wish..things could've been better for her.. Instead, I ruined it more.." Blate sobbed.
"We could do nothing for her situation, right now we just have to find a place to cure her." Snow gave Blate a motivation.

Cuitt
Noak chirped to warned them something. Seemed like Snow understood what's going to happen. Snow stood up to see clearly of what happened in front of them. It wasn't a good news. The sky there was darker, lighting and thunder roared, storms swirled into the sea, made a tiny hurricane. However, those tiny hurricane could destroyed their little boat.
"Oh my.." Snow gasped in horror.

Blate saw their situation, too. She was stunned. She looked up to the sky and it was getting darker and darker. They'll be entering their nightmare.
The good news was Star awoke in the middle of terrifying situation.
"AH.. HOLY SHIET!" she exclaimed, looked at both of her hand, then felt her stomach.
Blate lower her head to meet Star's excitement eyes.
"I've been rebornn.. BEHOLD WORLD, STAR HAS BEEN REBORNN!! HAHA" Star stood up and said it proudly.
While she screamed that, the thunder above her rumble, added the dramatic effect. Startled by the thunder, she fell down on the boat.

Seeing those odd scene, Blate and Snow was stunned, looking at Star's behavior. After a few minutes, she fell, she came back up and sat down at the boat.
"Urghh, stupeed thunder.." Star frowned.
Blate's crying happily looking at Star that came back to normal. She immediately hugged her, followed by Blord, Snow and Noak (rubbed its head on Star's face).
"What the-.. The fuck's been going ownn?" Star sounded annoyed, but deep down she felt comfortable in their hugging.
It has been a long time since the last time she was hugged this tight.
"Are you alright, Star? How's your stomach? Is it hurt?" Blate still worried about her.
"Oh please.. you really gonna worried about me huh? I'm.."

Before Star could say anything, the boat bounced, and they all tumbled down together. For a moment, they forgot about the situation they're in. The heavy rain and strong wind shaken their boat. The sea was getting scarier and scarier the more they went forward.
"DAMNN! IF I WAKE UP LIKE THIS EVERYDAY, I WOULD BE SO TURNED ON!"
Snow and Blate looked suspiciously at Star.
"No, it's not what you think about.. hehe..." Star chuckled awkwardly.

"Storms are getting closer. Oh geez.."
They all tumbled down again and again.
"HOLD ONN!" Snow screamed at them.
The waves were getting higher, the boat creaked.
They couldn't see anything, they could only relied on light from the lighting strike. All they could do was praying and holding on. If they drowned, nobody could save them, since they had crossed the sea boundary line and they didn't even know which this sea or ocean belonged to.
The boat couldn't hold any longer. It cracked, the water going inside the boat, if they didn't closed it, they'll drowned.
Luckily, snow could freezed it. But, one crack led to other bigger crack. They all cried and screamed in fears. Screamed for help. Yet nothing changed. Noak couldn't fly no more, let alone Star.

The water that brought them getting higher, they could see the huge waves in front of them.
"AAAAA" they all screamed.
The boat tumbled upside down. They all fell into the deep dark sea
