Dean had "stolen" Castiel from Sam, taking them to the store. Castiel has been dragging their feet the entire time, insisting they should've just brought Sam and Jack too. Dean sighed, "Dude, you spend way too much time with Sam. Like way too much, conjoined twins spend more time apart than you two."

"That is only possible with surgery," Castiel said, and Dean rolled his eyes, "And this is yours and Sam's okay? Besides, we need a few things for the bunker. Put those down." Castiel had grabbed a bouquet of flowers, "Jack and Sam like these."

Dean groaned, "You can get one thing for them both, but we're out to get away from them." Castiel raised an eyebrow, "You are, I was trying to spend time with them." Dean rolled his eyes, "You'll survive being away from them for two seconds."

"Coming from the guy who sold his soul because he couldn't be away from his brother for two seconds." Castiel said, refusing to blink, staring directly into Dean's soul. Dean covered his heart and walked away, "I don't want to hear it, you got him out of the cage by working with Crowley."

Castiel followed Dean, "And you would never work with a demon to get your brother back. As we all know you sold your soul to an angel." Dean turned around, "Are we really going there? I'm allowed to be codependent, I raised him. You are just a lovesick puppy following Sam everywhere he goes."

"Not everywhere because I'm here with you," Castiel muttered, Dean had so many things that were dying to jump off his tongue, he settled for one, "Aren't we supposed to have the profound bond or whatever?"

Castiel's eyebrows furrowed together, "Dean, I lied." Dean stumbled backwards, wiping his mouth, "You little shit. You used me to hide that you were lying to Sam?" Castiel nodded, "Yes, I thought we all knew this."

"No, we didn't all know this," Dean said, "We're getting our stuff and leaving. I can't believe you." And he couldn't believe his eyes as he saw Sam and Jack walk in, immediately spotting them, "You know Sam, you can keep him. I- I don't know him anymore."

San looked very confused and looked to Castiel for help, "He found out there is no profound bond." Sam made an, "oh" face and slowly nodded, "Yeah, uh. Well, you two still are like brothers-"

"Sam, can it!" Dean said, walking away from them all, "I don't want to hear more lies from Castiel right now." Sam looked to Castiel, "I think he misses you," Sam said, and Castiel shrugged, "I know. But he pulled me away when we were about to watch the Halloween baking competition."

Sam laughed through his nose, "Okay, you need to make it up to Dean. And then we'll go watch the show. We just made snacks in preparation since you left." Castiel sighed, "Fine. But he doesn't get flowers." Sam had more questions but just let him wander off.

"What is a profound bond?" Jack asked, Sam shrugged, "I have no idea. It's just something that Castiel came up with when I was soulless." Jack nodded, "When were you soulless?" Sam winced, "Uh, long story."

"Lucifer?" Sam nodded, "Yeah, Lucifer." Jack shook his head with a sigh, "It always is." Sam patted his shoulder. Not sure what else to say or do as they waited...
